Chinese defense minister meets with Pakistan's air force chief​

BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Li Shangfu met with Pakistan Air Force Chief Zaheer Ahmad Babar in Beijing on Tuesday.

Li said during the meeting that China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic cooperative partners and iron-clad friends. The two sides should promote close cooperation in all fields and build an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, he said.

The air forces of the two countries should enhance their collaborative capability through joint exercises, Li added.

The Pakistan Air Force is willing to further promote exchanges with the Chinese side in fields such as combat and equipment, so as to make positive contributions to jointly coping with ever-changing regional security challenges, Babar said. Enditem

One thing is beyond my understanding that on one side Military & politicians crying country doesn't have enough money on, other every one is going state sponsored tours which havent done single thing for Pakistan.

Looks like a very dheela air chief …does not look sharp. I don’t know why he was chosen over Piracha. Piracha can run circles around this guy and was a great strategist. Also does not look like he can push back on Asif munir even though he is his junior. A strong air chief can make important contributions in NSC meetings and give a different non army view but looks like he and the naval chief ( equally useless) don’t say a single word during these sessions. Imagine Nur Khan, Asghar Khan, Rahim Khan, Jamal Ahmed Khan and compare with Sidhu …night and day difference in the strength of personality, persuasiveness in arguments, command over the English language and just the strength of character and dignity. We don’t produce that material anymore. Also can’t believe our current air chief does not have a Red Crescent star on the wing ..I believe this is the first ever! What a foul up

I wonder if its about more J10's. It would be great if older F16's were phased out keeping the newer F16's and ones with enough flight hours left. phase out F16's for J10's .
