Being off the drawing board is one thing but the joirney from drawing board to actual one is a llng and arduous one full of set backs. I think the PAF may yet get one product off the shelf as tbis one is not goi g to see the light of day till 2028-30 if we are lucky. So now the talk may well be between j20/ 31 and SU35. 40 Planes to tide us over till that time.

The important thing is PAF taught themselves how to fight asymmetric war and avoided collateral damage.
I saw this interview of a PAF pilot who flew bombing runs during operation zarb e Azb. He was saying they went out with bombs, then when on target after observation,if in Any doubt, came back without dropping a single bomb, even if the terrorists got away. That's why so many terrorist commanders are still alive and in Afghanistan, but no collateral damage caused by Paf.

Well that is a good reason for terrorist to keep in the company of others.

Thats why local non combatant population is always removed as IDP.
