Seriously bro, just check who liked your first post and you will see that by following what your saying, we will only hurt ourselves. One thing for sure, you have the enemies(on PDF) full support on this.
Not really.

I am an 'enemy' and I support a 100% Shariah compliant Islamic Pakistan. I oppose those who want a Secular (even partially) Pakistan.

But this comes after being well informed.

On the other hand @Horus is using faulty arguments and factually incorrect data - also called lying - to make his points.

Like on the issue of Constitution, like giving the example of Gulf states with oil as examples of thriving Islamic countries.

Why do you support the Shariah, are you Muslim? If not, why?

By the way, his argument is a correct answer to whatever he was answering. :)

@RescueRanger

Women wanting to stay at home, has no relation to whether a country should be secular or not.

They can stay at home in secular country also. Isn't it?

.
Pakistan cannot be secular country technically yet state n its ppl can adopt secular principles ....... I see, its impossible for Pakistan to abandon its intrinsic Islamic characters either way in any time.....

No, I am not Muslim.

For reasons that are my own, I want Shariah to be fully implemented in Pakistan. Not the half hearted one which takes some things and leaves some things. The entire set of Shariah which includes removal of the economic system based on rib'aa and all the other things that a large number of Pakistanis are scared of.

After all, it is the duty of every abiding Muslim to implement Shariah and run his life according to the 'Laws of God'.

I want a fully Islamised society in Pakistan.

Is that all you gathered from my retort. Bravo sir, bravo.

You mean to say women's status in Islamic country is same as outside. This is not true by any stretch of imagination, but let me accept it so that we do't have to debate on it.Please let me know if I got the intention of your post wrong.

But women can live the way they want (live at home or work, drive or not) in secular country also. Isn't it?

To me women's status, treatment, behavior is separate discussion then being a secular country or not.

Maybe it is time to abandon our status as the "Islamic" "Republic" of Pakistan, and return to our secular roots which were planned by the fathers of the nation. Pakistan was created because Jinnah and co were afraid that in a Hindu dominated Country, there would always be episodes of violence and disagreement between the two chief religions, as Muslims of India had grown to become an almost different culture. Thus Pakistan was created so that the Muslims and Hindus can live in peace alone. Pakistan was created because the Muslim League felt the new "Hindus"tan would not be secular enough, not because it wouldn't be "Islamic" enough. Do we want to end up like the Middle East?

Also, it is embarrassing how many people believe in ridiculously stupid Jewish conspiracy theories, and hate Jews so much without having ever having seen one in their entire lives. Can a mature, mentally healthy human being actually believe such far fetched stories? Is this the result of one or two generations of cousin-cousin breeding? The reality is every year hundreds, if not thousands of non-Muslims are persecuted and harassed all along the country, but our sympathies are only for Palestine and non-existent dead Muslims in Burma and India. Isn't it ridiculous how people in Pakistan want women to "cover" themselves up, yet Google confirms the most number of pornographic searches are from Pakistan. Google also confirms that South Asia ranks the highest in bestiality searches.

Now people are going to be blame me for having such a negative view of my home country, but I am telling the truth, and even if the truth is not something that was told to us through biased text books. Media doesn't report such incidents because they are more focused on who Imran Khan wants to sleep with, and they don't have time for a family of murdered Ahmaids, Shias, Chrisitans, Hindus, etc. But of course it is all Mossad's, RAW's and CIA's fault, because they have so much time and resources to waste on us. (Well, RAW is an exception I guess. They all have the time in the world for their little Eastern Sibling)

Good luck with that buddy. Even the Western educated members on this forum will give you a hard time, imagine how madressah educated people will react.

Its funny that our history and heritage has been given a complete whitewash by people with vested interests over the decades. Jinnah sab never even asked for this name "Islamic Republic". Its hard to imagine a whisky drinking secular man like Jinnah sab ever accepting to the demands of bigots like Maudoodi, if he were alive.

We, the people of Pakistan, have such a rich history before Pakistan was even created. Our ancestors who lived in this region called Pakistan now achieved so much over thousands of years. You just have to read about the history of great kingdoms like Gandhara to get an idea. Taxila university, a 3000 years old institute was a product of this land. Great people like Chankiya, Panini, Porus were sons of this soil, along with many others. But sadly, we are too ashamed of our ancestors to call them our own.

Our pseudo history starts with an invader, Bin Qasim. Even though he was an important part of our history, but he was not the "starting point" as claimed in our twisted text books. I, for one, am very proud of my ancestors who were Budhists, Hindus before accepting Islam. My ancestors, the original Pakistanis or Harrappa, Mohenjodaro, Taxila, Gandhara attained great heights with their magnificent empires and their advancements in science, philosophy and politics.

Good news is that many people, particularly the youth are asking these important questions. I hope in a few decades we will be mature enough to go back to our secular and progressive roots.

Secular or Islamic Pakistan will more or less be the same. Look at Bangladesh, the outcomes from being secular have had made some change, but it's still got problems similar to those in Pakistan.

Pakistanis need to stop with the existential crisis. No matter how the country labels itself, people need to start focusing on improving the nation. When the time comes to determine a title it'll be more obvious which choice Pakistan should go with.

I just see people spend so much time on this when they could have spent the time solving problems that would make a huge difference.

So yes separation was nothing but a mistake and also what it fetched to was to segregate all the extremists to one side.
No Levina. It was not a mistake. It was the best thing that could have happened to India.

And kindly stop dragging India in this thread. This topic is about Pakistan and whether or not it should now be an "Islamic Republic" or just a "Republic".

Did you even bother to read my response, the fact that you are hammering on about one section of my response makes me feel you did not comprehend what I was trying to suggest. I don't wish to be rude but you have not read my post, please re - read it, understand it and how it relates to PAKISTAN.

If you cannot comprehend it, then please kindly stop spamming me in responses. I can't help you!

Thank you.

There was nothing secular n democratic in entire history of Islamic propagation though jinnah envisioned the same without accounting other consequences(Contradictory philosophy of Islamic Republic n Secularism) in future which are leading such debates even today after 67yrs of Pakistan independence.......
