Actually, use the same standard ammunition is a must-have for the competition.
So even you never use those as daily basis, you must learn to use the standard rifle for the competition.

actually SS-2 is was very different from our SS-1 (Indonesian version of FNC), SS-2 flash suppresor and forward assist is based on the Colt M16A2 with the front sight being based on the AK rifles. The receiver itself was different too from the material we used. Picatiny rail, handling characteristic, heat ventilation holes, safety selector location, all of them is different from the most recent SS-1 variant, in all it was a very different rifle from FNC.

(AARM-2014) - In the first two days of AARM-24, the 10 shooting contingents have competed in Match 1 including: Rifle, Machine Gun, Carbine, Men Pistol and Ladies Pistol.

These are the results after two days of competition:

Rifle Match 1:

- The Gold Medal taken by Rodney L Rizano (the Philippines).

- The Silver Medal taken by Sugeng Widocdo (Indonesia).

- The Bronze Medal taken by Atthantowit Toonarsoon (Thailand).

Carbine Match 1:

- The Gold Medal taken by Hader DHammara (the Philippines).

- The Silver Medal taken Asnawi Bin Ahmad (Malaysia).

- The Bronze Medal taken by Suranto (Indonesia).

Men Pistol Match 1:

- The Gold Medal taken by Suparjono (Indonesia).

- The Silver Medal taken by Passakhon Somyom (Thailand ).

- The Bronze Medal taken by Safrin (Indonesia).

Ladies Pistol Match 1:

- The Gold Medal taken by Eva Triana (Indonesia).

- The Silver Medal taken by Winarsih (Indonesia).

- The Bronze Medal taken by Pham Thi Ha (Vietnam).

Machine Gun Match 1:

- The Gold Medal taken by Tuyato and Samudin (Indonesia).

- The Silver Medal taken by Andarias Bede and Priyanta (Indonesia).

- The Bronze Medal taken by Mohamad Samsui Bin Sulong and Muhamad Erwan Bin Muhammad Himi (Brunei).

As the plan, on Afternoon November 21, 2014 the Organizing Committee is going to give the prizes to the best competitors.
