It's a verty curious question- how will you handle this situation if you were the leader? You ask people to stop paying because the 'bills are excessive'- they stop paying and then you come to power.

I can also PROMISE moon to come to power, it's upto people to judge if the person is capable or not.

I can also say that I will make houses for each & every person in Delhi if i come to power, obviously i don't have to pay a penny, it's the taxpayers money.

They asked them not to pay the bills when they were street protesters. I don't know what the solution is actually. I'm sure arvind and team must not have paid too- how can they when they were askign everyone else not to pay?

You aren't getting the point. Before elections they said 'protest against electricity rates that are twice as high as they are supposed to be by not paying them'. So a few people follow and protest by not paying the bills. I don't know what the solution is but under no circumstances do i think a new government will ask these people to pay the full rates because their pre-poll plank was that the rates are high.

But then why not give the subsidy to ever one? why only those who supported their party?
for instance if if any CM in India brought out a SOP it would be for ever one not just those who supported his party . its that what i have an issue with mate. declare to all of Delhi residents you will pay only 50% of what you have already paid and the rest will be born by the govt . that fair . this is not!!!
