AAP could form govt in Delhi; all options on table: Kumar Vishwas

He himself killed his mother and another point is that it was like a revenge killing as Kshatriya were killing brahims earlier.

And we have come long if not too long way to think and analysis mythological history , which has nothing to do with people of today in any context.

It would be better that you wonder about the present state of affairs and welfare of all people and stop thinking in this way.

AAP sends letter to Sonia, Rajnath over government formation in Delhi

New Delhi:
Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung on Saturday met Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal and asked him to form the government whenever he gets the support of the majority in the 70-member Assembly. Kejriwal had sought 10 days time from the Lieutenant Governor to decide on a government formation in Delhi.

Kejriwal has also written letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her BJP counterpart Rajnath Singh and given a copy of the same to the Lieutenant Governor. He has asked both the parties to clear their stand on various promises AAP has made in its election manifesto. The party shall then seek the mandate of the people.

AAP has given seven days to BJP and Congress to respond on various issues raised by it in the letter and another three days for AAP to respond.

Kejriwal said the BJP has refused to stake claim in the government formation saying they do not have required numbers and does not want to indulge in horse-trading. He said, "BJP, the single largest party with 32 MLAs does not want to form a government as it fell short of form MLAs. BJP is thae master at engineering defection using power power and claimed that the going rate was about Rs 10 crore per MLA. But they do not want to indulge in horse-trading and it's a win for AAP."

Kejriwal also raised questions over unconditional support from Congress. He said, "Nothing is unconditional in politics and there must be some motives behind Congress' move."

The Congress party on Friday sent a letter to the Lieutenant Governor giving unconditional support to AAP to form a government in the national capital. Kejriwal said the party was surprised at the Congress' move and clarified that he has not sought their support. He said, "We are ready to form government but we have clarified that neither we will give or take anyone's support. We have prepared a letter on this and asked them to clarify their party's stand."

In the letters sent to both the Congress and BJP, AAP has listed 18 issues including Jan Lokpal Bill, corruption in Delhi government and MCD, water problem, high electricity bills, unauthorised colonies and also sought a probe into it.

Kejriwal said, "After Lokpal Bill is passed, we will investigate all cases of corruption against Congress and BJP. Are both parties be ready for that? We plan to convene a special assembly session at Ramlila maidan and we will pass the Lokpal Bill there."

He added that the party may be offering unconditional support but they have put conditions on them by asking them to clarify their stand on each issue.

Hey I'm offended by that picture you have as your avatar. That guy slaughtered my people. Please change it.

Thats a rather narrow way of describing an "avatar". He is much more than the killer of "Shahastrarjuna" and his followers. Even then he was avenging the wrongs done by that king to his father and whole Rishi-parampara..

Anyway that Brahman-Kshatriya episode was over with the Ram-Vivah ... And there must be a reason why only Bhagwan Parshuram is the only Avatar who is still on earth and will be the guru of Kalki..

And as madooxno9 said.. Lets focus on present state of affairs.. :)

You think AAP will be the star performer in the next elections???
The things said in the video will only work at a corporater level not higher. in India 10 people all have different views on the same problem , hence its not viable to use this method for any thing higher than a local body govt.

the aap have virtually no support in rural India , and the average villager is a lot smarter than his urban counterpart. so no i do not think they will be star performers.
aap also will make a big mistake if they fail to form the govt in Delhi, the people had faith in them and voted them in , but if they fail to accept responsibility what differentiates them from other politicians?

I agree.
AAP will have to work assiduously to achieve what they've promised.
But I really hope they do.
The only quibble about AAP is that they are idealistic.

Well in my opinion if they can manage to get votes in the city then they wont have to be bailing hay in villages for the same.

rural votes account for 69% of the seats. if they are to have any impact they have to go rural.

New Delhi: In an interesting turn of events, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday indicated that it could form the government in Delhi even though it doesn’t have the required numbers.

AAP leader Kumar Vishwas said that all options are on the table and they are deliberation on all of them.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has invited AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal to discuss government formation in Delhi. The two will meet tomorrow morning.

The L-G extended invitation to AAP after BJP CM candidate Harsh Vardhan declined the offer to stake claim, saying his party does not have the numbers.

The recent Assembly elections in Delhi threw up a fractured mandate – BJP won 31 seats in the 70-member House and emerged as the single largest party. AAP, meanwhile, got 28 seats followed by Congress's eight.

Earlier, with no party having majority and ready to stake claim, Delhi appeared to be heading for President's Rule and subsequent re-election.

However, Kumar Vishwas’ remarks could change the scenario.

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi too has said that the party was not averse to supporting Aam Aadmi Party for government formation in Delhi.

Rahul Thursday told reporters that the Congress is mulling the option of lending support to AAP t form government in Delhi.

"It is under consideration," he said.

Congress MLAs are reported to be keen to lend support to AAP, while some BJP MLAs also want to extend support to the debutant party.

Nope, they don't have much presence beyond Delhi, in LS they may not do that well even in Delhi. I am worried that they might end up helping Congress indirectly in 2014 by taking away a portion of the anti- congress votes from the strongest opposition in each seat.

Lately CPM was winning in Bengal due to the similar division of votes between TMC and Congress.

Well let AAP form the govt with the help of Con-grass which they ousted from power.
