This WHY is a very important question.

Why are they anti national? Why are they anti Hindu?
For one - I believe there are two types.

1. Just plain cowards and easy power mongers - These are opportunists. Most belong to this category. I have almost only seen these.

2. Hardened anti Hindus - These are not cowards and have a strong anti Hindu bent. Their work is more calculated and as behind the scenes as possible. They are usually the leaders, and I believe to be few in number. Though they are the natural leaders and are in influential places. Their families perpetuate this trait over generations. If you learn about the evils of Hinduism from day 1 of your life, you will believe it to be the Truth to the last day of your life.

Worst of all - they KNOW Hindus VERY WELL. Especially their weaknesses. To defeat them, (I think) you need to behave like non Hindus. Do things they don't expect.

Threats received by the writers who died prior to their murders is the prima-facie evidence. Who said the state governments are all paragons of virtue?

It is amply evident today that BJP's past image of saffronist extremism has not gone away. Far from it there is evidence that the Hindutva extremists are attacking people over writing books(based on Hindu texts no less) criticizing Hinduism, daily asking people of this country to go to Pakistan because they said something untasteful to them.
