JF17 Thunder is not a indengious fighter. The Thunder was a fighter MADE TO ORDER for PAF by Chengdu with license assembly to moved to PAC.
PLAAF never had intention to induct this THUNDER as it does not meet the current and FUTURE needs of China,s military .
HOWEVER FOR a country that has very limited resources THE THUNDER is the perfect project for PAF and was and remains a VERY WISE MOVE.
BUT STOP COMPARING TO TEJAS
Tejas was a INDIAN FIGHTER designed and built and TESTED BY INDIANS ... yes it has USA engines and Israeli technology but it is a INDIAN PROJECT and INDIABN PLANE
And after watching this vedio IT HAS AND WILL be A HUGE SUCCESS I am 100% CERTAIN
