A two-front threat emerging for Pakistan

Afghan Taliban are allies of Pakistan and have links with LeT, al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups. India realised this fact during the negotiations to release the passengers of IC-814 in 1999.

.
Or India should refuse to get involved in the internal affiars of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

India is not involved in internal affairs of Pakistan

Pakistan has no business trying to dicate india's relationship with Afghanistan

Don't hear much of the stuff you mentioned in the news. May be you are there to construct 10 schools at a time, and you're probably constructing maybe 2 to show that you're doing something, and rest of resources are going you-know-where.

One of India's major projects in Afghanistan is building the $180 million strategic Zaranj-Delaram road which would open up an alternate route for the landlocked-Afghanistan to an Iranian port and reduce its dependence on Pakistan.

. .
Why does india have any interest in restricting afghan taliban? By its own admission, the militants attacking it are Pakistanis and not Afghans.

Its not INdia but US who has this interest. India is just helping rebuild;)

But why this concerted effort to dismantle Afghan Taliban by india? Logically, that shouldn't be one of the priorities for a poor nation such as india. Afghan Taliban are not the ones attacking india. The links are there, but the groups are still independent and can operate independently of each other.

So in fact the road was for india's own interests to transport its good from India to Afghanistan via Iran.

By proximity and by Russian invovment in Afghainstan we had to not only assist but fight along side afghanis those invaders, India in fact suported Rusian invation of Afghanistan. Talibans were the creation at the time to face Russians and than the war lords who were using Afghanistan to destablize the region with drug bussiness, Pakistan had to take action to not only help Afghanistan but the continant rid of these lords.

Now where does India come in when it was an accessory to the invation of Afghanistan by assiciation and by full suport of the invation.

so don't give us a shpeel about how India is helping Afghanistan, we know India very well since our Indepandance the policies it has carried out against Pakistan and this is one of those policies under the guise of help.

India should help its own population before it should help others.

Perhaps India has not heard of the saying, That charity begins at home.

Hold on my dear friend.

Logically, being poor herself, neither should pakistan nurture them as their "strategic assets".

If we do not act now, These Afghan Talibans along with ISI would stage another hijacking of Indian aircraft anytime soon. If not that then maybe the duo could at least bomb our embassy in kabul the third time in a row.

If we want to help Afghanistan building its infrastructure, what business is it of Pakistan? Why don't you let the sovereign nation of Afghanistan decide what it wants to do?

Why is Pakistan trying to force the "good" Taliban down Afghanistan's throat? Who are you to tell them what ideology their nation should follow?

Surely you do look in the mirror every morning (I hope).....Maybe some introspection is in order to channel your country's priorities to the right problem matey......

Lemme give you a hint: WOT

Pakistan didn't nurture them. They were a by-product of soviet invasion and it was in Pakistan's interest to kick soviets out. US was the main investor in the Mujhaideen, which came to be Taliban. Sure, Pakistan supported them, but didn't "nurture" them. Hope you can see the difference.

There was only one hijacking that happened long time ago. If it was a trend then maybe your point would hold. As for embassy, india has been in Afghanistan long before its embassy was bombed.
