A Trade on way? Jailed Spy over Jailed Terrorist

.
i believe in reality not myths, so what IK is more interested in appeasing common people who apparently are more ignorant and emotional in most of the affairs then taking defense matters seriously? he is trying to set precedence.
He's a politician - every 5 years those idiots vote him into power. In a democracy, they matter, once every 5 years at least.

Afia Siddiqui and Shakil Afridi hold no value on defence matters, and if they do, GHQ will tell him so. One is a spy who's cover was blown. IF ISI don't think he has anything else to reveal, then his value is expired. If they do - then he cannot be offered in any exchange.

The other at worst is associated with Al Queda at some point in her life, however considering her convictions are for attempted murder of US marines, not terrorism, you'd think it's unlikely.

The talk is for the electorate, if anything ever happens (extremely unlikely), it will be GHQ approved.

In an "ideal world" no one can disagree.

In the "real world" every issue has its life and then you need to move on.

About 12 to 15 years ago there was a spat between China and US.
A Chinese fighter pilot aggressively intercepted the US spy plane and touched its wing with the wing of spy plane in air.
The US spy plane spiralled down but landed inside China.

There was a lot of usual chest thumping then, but the cool headed Chinese leader gave its administration 2-weeks to settle the issue.
again not the same issue, just look at iran they caught cia spy ring and its straight to the gallows! a lesson to be learned.

True. PMIK did indicate that it might be possible to take up this discussion up at a later date, which was left unspecified for now.
I wouldn't hold my breath on it! This issue is not as simple as simplified by the pm.

. . .
It is wise to accept the words of PMIK on this matter for now.
whatever floats your boat and keeps you patriotic.

I remember reading a report that cia people go missing in china and no trace is left. take that as you may!

Sir! the fundamental point is that we don't want our relations with US as Iran has its with US. If that was the aim then there was no need to make this trip. We had cold, frosty relations already.

Well if this is the case then we have already missed the boat. We have announced at our extreme voice that we have caught Afridi.
In addition, I am sure many CIA/RAW/MOSSAD operatives "go missing" inside Pakistan as well, and no trace is left ;)

The world is not unipolar its becoming bipolar once again. No one closes the door on Pakistan the yanks have tried it many times before and just recently too. BUT this matter is not up for negotiations or get ready for more hussain haqqani's to pour out of Pakistan. If that is what you are cool with then I want to hit my head against the wall. :hitwall:

there is a difference between a spy plane landing and it being returned after being inspected as there is a understanding or treaty to return certain hardware back to said country. The countries that do not tolerate such vermin are the ones where trouble is exceptionally minimal. Pakistan had a bloodbath in Karachi Bloodbath in FATA, Balochistan and generally all over because the state was lenient in the past.

.
Pakistan should make a better deal. We did need Afridi, but a better deal. America would be willing to pay any amount for that the spy.

As IK pointed out the solution in an interview in USA fox channel.
Your thoughts:coffee:
And I know a lot here their thoughts already but now as it’s IK’ comments I am interested how many change their views.
I am all happy with this trade Both Doctors spend a good time already in jail. Let them breath free.
Ik played clever.. he asked them what they can not do. Their justice system will not allow them. Then he told them we have democracy and we have opposition.which usa tel every country bring democracy.. I personally like the idea of Khan.. woman has kids they are waiting for her. She has family waiting back home..she was treated worst. Just watch one of converted muslim woman jhon retly I think. She said they used rape afia in Afghanistan prison.. I mean that woman suffered alot
