Are Chinese too dumb to appreciate democracy? If you really want to know, spend a little bit time and listen to what he has to say.

Can democracy and freedom of press feed your 800 million sick people of south asia? Chinese people eat three meals per day.

so you fools can be happy and starve with your democracy and freedom of the press . LOL.

Both Hong Kong and Singapore do not have full democracies, yet these two places have some of the highest standards of living in the entire world.

These two places also have a population that is majority ethnic Chinese. Why fix what isn't broken?

Then again, Taiwan has full democracy, and they do alright as well.

And the Mainland currently has the best sustained economic growth performance out of any country in history.

So the lesson is that all systems can work, the important thing is the implementation.

Only work with a dictatorial democracy with strong Confucian and Legalist principle.

Actually it's a misconception that Singapore is not a full democracy. Ever since its founding in the 60's, there's an election every 5 year without fail. The govt can be authoritative in the way they run because they win every election with huge majority and dominated the parliament with virtually no opposition, until recently.

But you right, all system can work. It all depends on the quality of govt and the people.
