A string of Pearl <-- FALSE !

The world does not revolve around India.

India should not overestimate its own importance.

Ok. :coffee:

But you know what ? that works fine for us.

hence the pathetic look east policy loooool

Going by the tone of it you dont seem to be very happy and so I am Happy.

Who wants to replace USA..? We are just joining them...

The recently concluded Malabar exercises in the Pacific and the India-Japan-US trilateral 'talks' are just the beginning. :azn:

If you cant beat them, join them.

No one did, its the Chinese in fact who are trying to prove that these ports are nothing but alternative supply/trade routes for China.

No country can take chances when it comes to defence and security. We can't just go around labeling others point of view as bs, when we aren't even ready to consider the others perspective.

LOL, why should we be considering your perspective?

We are rivals remember. China and Pakistan are strategic rivals of India.

.
^ Correction : Pakistan is just a rival (even enemy) -- not strategic. China is a strategic rival, though not enemy.

See there we go, same argument goes for us. To each his own.

I would like to see China take the initiative, it being the bigger player and what not, to reduce this trust deficit with India.

The trust deficiet is due to India, not due to China. China has time and time again given good deals to India and tried to lower tensions. Time again we have been slapped by India. We've recently tried again in Sanya. Will India slap us back again, or is your foreign ministry run by people like Jackass?

I guess some people take the internet and these online forums too seriously. Not good for health

The reason that the China-India border dispute is still NOT solved... is because one side, or both sides, don't really want it to be solved.

If both sides sincerely wanted to reach a solution, then it would have happened already.

Do you guys think if Pakistan was not in the picture, India-China relations would have improved by now?

It is mostly India at fault for not reaching a solution. India should rightfully release its grip on China's South Tibet (Arunachal Pradesh).
