You confuse my blaming of the elites as an open excuse for other rot. However, what I highlight is that this majority is what enables the elites and they prefer it that way. A self perpetuating but ticking time bomb on themselves of which this majority of haram khors will suffer so bad they will ask for Jahannum instead. Choor bazari happens in every country even here in US. Majority of those who lynched that srilankan manager were associated with TLP. There are two options we are left with.

I have a question for progressive Pakistanis.

Can these religious bigots be fought using religion,like Govt takes this case as priority.
1)find the guilty quick.
2)runs the case in court on a fast track.
3)hangs him
4)declares the guilty person not Muslim as he did not follow Islam.
5)doesn't allow Islamic burial.

Well, South Asia is indeed backward when it comes to development , mindset, openess and modernity. This includes India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and the likes. Not much difference in this regard.
This Sri Lankan guy should have been more careful as well, when you go to ultra religious countries with weak legal system and where mob violence happens often like India/Pakistan etc you need to be very careful, since even a false accusation can lead to mob violence and your death before the law/investigations can even take its course. So when you visit such Countries you have to be mindful of such acts and be even more vigilant/careful of what you do and say than you will otherwise be in other countries. Since there are always groups of die hard religious people who winter hesitate to take matters in their own hands when they think their religion or pride has been trampled upon. I guess this guy found himself in a similar situation..

Anyway, RIP to this guy. Such is life, none of us will live forever anyway. Just a sad way of passing away.

Government/state is made up of citizens of that country. So I don't understand why some people usually act like they are led by foreigners or something. State/Government is often the representation of that country as a whole. Difference isn't often that wide apart.
