What's new

A shameful protocol arrangement on part of Nawaz Sharif.

refusing to learn from history, and repeating the same mistakes, misusing a maxim (kam az kam itni urdu to ani chahiye), and then arguing with the most ridiculous statement (red)... pufff.. let lost pls !
Sahi bola i don't know much Urdu ... your no one to judge if someone have learned or not learned from history. u just keep on satisfying your damaged ego by posting/starting these kinda outstanding threads. :coffee:

what a shame....
Giving protocol to random foreigners..who aren't the rank of Prime minister and the prime minister shouldn't be meeting them in the first place...

No matter what, Kiyani is The Chief of Armed Forces, and thats the office which should not lose its respect.. especially while dealing with foreigners...

these type of cheap tactics will not make nawaz achieve its objective of relocating power in prime minister house, this is only derogatory and insulting to a person you are dealing with, without realizing that its actually an insult to the office he/she is holding... :pissed:

p.s

you must establish your self worthy of the office of prime minister, not by inflicting insult upon other state institution heads...

it should not be like that my ego is bigger than yours.

wrong, Wrong, WRONG !!!

@Leader and all imran supporters please grow up for GOD sake man:hitwall:

So what's wrong with the seating arrangement? Did you want Kayani to sit on Nawaz's lap? :P C'mon man, relax. Don't get too hyper.

By the way, that chair Kayani is sitting on is carved teak which is probably more expensive than the sofa Nawaz is sitting on which is made of some crappy wood and stuffed with cheap cotton!!! :cheesy:

actually we want Kiani to sit there where Monmohan can sit comfortably in his lap……

bhutto used to treat Zia like this ... & we all know how that turned out to be .. lets Hope Ganja shareef has learned his lesson from the past , because this time there wont be any KSA to save his sorry behind .

And I hope that the Army also has learnt its lesson in respecting the elected government and working within its defined Constitutional role, since the consequences for any more illegal steps will be quite bad for the country. Then all our behinds will be sorry.

You are right and neither should we allow and encourage clash of the institutions. On one side you are prosecuting an ex-general /chief of army and than you treat COAS like this.
Are they telling us that they could not arrange for a sofa prior to meeting? Or did kiyani arrive for the meeting out of no where.

So the events of the last few years indicate that Pakistan is safe? What about what is happening in the country nowadays? The Army usurps power only when it suits its own purposes using the country's safety as an excuse, but it will not work this time. The situation needs all of us to work together, specially the leadership of ALL the institutions, whether you like it or not.

A clash of institutions will be a huge setback for Pakistan in the present circumstances and should be avoided at all costs. I do not know what the story is behind this picture or the older story of the PM-elect's convoy being held up by the COAS convoy, but I suspect that certain quarters want to play up any possible differences to create clashes for their own reasons.

not.

Janab the issue with convoy was that there was actually no issue.COAS convoy was already in full force. NS convoy had not left the front gate yet that is why it was stopped. Because you will have to stop COAS convoy in the middle of road for several minutes until NS convoys passes by. It was a security related issue. Case here is very different, and NS will have to make sure he changes his ways by the time next COAS is appointed

Likely, the case here is also minor and not the huge issue people are trying to make of it.

Yes, I agree that NS will have to learn how to govern effectively if he is to survive.

Is it an issue? or your PTI phobia not let you calm down? Nobody even think or noticed it but only who have tumor of conflict. According to the protocol he can enjoy big seat and rest of participants can sit what is available. Why PTI supporter couldn't notice priority arrangement in this photo........

Yes in fact they did and the result was separation of east Pakistan, escalation of Balochistan's situation and yes Kargil. Its not fault of army but the venturing nature of the selective breed of generals who have been able in succumbing their own nation rather than anybody else.
