Well it depends on which part of karachi city you are living in.But yes big city means big pollution and waste in general.
Most Americans and foreigners can,t stop loving our food and hospitality.
Take her to other cities of pakistan as well,specially islamabad so she can see how clean and hygienic our other cities are.

Two years back almost entire Karachi was a big garbage dump , I live in a relatively decent area when it comes to security and cleanness . I was planning to go Balakot with her this year because i went there in December and I loved it .

Firstly congratulations for having found a wonderful partner for the rest of your life. May Allah bless your marriage and the fruits of it. Secondly please cherish her like nothing else she has changed her life left her country and parents for you. And you should NEVER forget that. Thirdly congratulations for showing the light of islam to a human being. This is a great blessing alhamdolillah.
Now the rest of your life may not be very easy as she may find a lot of customs very unusual. But be patient with her talk to her gently at all times and patience is indeed a virtue. Lastly women are never straight forward but as long as your guiding light is from Quran and Sunnah you will never go astray. So read the Quran together and try and understand it together.

Thank you Araz bhai, well I never force my wife to do anything or follow any Islamic things or worship like Muslims , she did things out of her good will and love/respect towards me , one time she saw me Offering Namaz, and she show interest in doing so, and this year Inshallah when she comes to Pakistan it will be Ramadan and she wants to join us all in fasting I did tell her that there is no pressure if you can handle it than do it or else leave it cause i understand it will be hard specially in summers and Load shedding .

Probably won't go now, budget got wrecked haha but if somehow i manage than this time i will go forward to Kaghan , Naran , Gillgit and Baltistan

it used to be much dirtier , now its much cleaner but still a lot dirty .

i married a wonderful lady from Georgia (country). Amazing life together - you know when a lady can drive tractors and paint houses and help in planting. People here are even shocked to learn she is from outside; that is how much she adapted.
