A question to both intelligent Bangladeshis and Bangladeshi Poodle Indians

how can someone be hanged without a proper trial..and why hang someone to make bengali population more hostile the population you want to separate off with on friendly terms...sometimes the idiots here just baffle me how they term everything as propaganda rather than countering the original argument..
Pakistanis were looking for an alternate leadership in Bangladesh that would be not pro india and they could leave off and not Mujib(because of his indian connection) therefore he was jailed.Meanwhile KGB worked very well in Bangladesh to develop Mujibs foot ground while he was in prison..thanks to maulna bhashani and other touts ..also kudos to KGB for how they seeped into media and civil bureaucracy of the east wing, how casualties at the hands of police were played politically against Pakistan.

in late 60s a local vulture (zulfiqar Ali Bhutto) formed his own party and went against Ayub to cash on political distress since he saw an opportunity to rule the future Pakistan minus east Pakistan..a body called Democratic Action Committee by political figures was formed to have Mujib released and Ayub did so under pressure of domestic politics and Mujib was sent of to Bengal to continue with his indian political ambitions..(hum idhar tum udhar-) an undeclared understanding between bhutto and mujib that they will rule their respective wings ..but plot twist Mujib later played politics upon winning showing everyone he was innocent and as a proof of it he showed desired to rule the two wings when he won elections..thats how he tried to wash off the smuch of agratal case..
Its a useless argument whether he should have been allowed to or not to contest in 1970..He would have been a proxy ruler of Bangladesh regardless whoever would have been in power there.Frankly west Pakistan had already lost its grip on the bureaucracy of its east wing so like west Pakistan really had a chance stop someone from contesting..
There are many people who have actually validated Mujibs indian connection...not sue why Bangladeshis have trouble accepting it.one of them is a famous indian writer,,

i can make up similar stories that bengalie hindus raped killed 1 million biharis in east pakistan....
what an you do about it?
This is not makeup. There are thousands of such experiences and not stories.

Eye witnesses cannot lie.

eye witnesses might not lie.. but they can definitely be duped into believing something was done by Pakistan army when it was actually your mukti fighters dressed up in army and police uniforms.

.
what theory..the fact that he wanted to be the prime minister of the two wings or that he was caught as a traitor earlier 1962

On 22 February 2011, one of the accused of Agartala conspiracy case, Shawkat Ali, told the parliament in Bangladesh that the Agartala conspiracy case was not false and the charges brought against the accused were all true. He also confirmed that Mujibur Rahman and Mohammad Ali Reza had indeed gone to Agartala, India to seek Indian support for Bangladesh's independence.

so your opinion on this is when an election is held in a country, if west pakistanis win they can rule over the eastern population but same case for a eastern bloke is unthinkable...

there in lies your hypocrisy and why pakistan broke. y'all never thought of bengalis are equals
anyways, it's been nearly 50 years since seperations and we certainly don't regret any of it... if y'all want our friendship then sure but we could care less about funny business with india that doesn't concern us.

Let's focus on the post of "Prime Minister" here.

A post that was purely ceremonial until 1973 when Pakistan was turned into a parliamentary democracy.

Distinction to be made, upto 1973 Pakistani Prime ministers were ceremonial figure heads like the presidents of today, Arif Alvi for Pakistan and Abdul Hamid for Bangladesh, purely ceremonial heads of state.

Until 1973, the country was run by the military leaders and the president, not the prime minister, so no were not "ruling" the west.

Therefore, your post is not only lacking in substance but also deviously deceptive.

The West-Pakistani leadership would rather let a "Poodle" rule Pakistan, then let a rightly elected Bengali get the top job, they knew If a Bengali came to office, it would spell the end of their lust for power.

Mujeeb won the election by a landslide, he had the people's mandate to rule United Pakistan, he was cheated, imprisoned and vilified through careful use of propaganda.

The people of East Pakistan were cheated, we were put in "our place", the one time we put our faith into the establishment and went to the polling stations, our say had no effect.

The war was on our streets, in our villages, not on the streets of Punjab, those were Bengalis who died but sure counter with the behari line, as If Beharis we're angels, who literally didn't commit the most unspeakable acts.

Reasoning with the indoctrinated and brainwashed is never fruitful, so I digress.

No amount of verbal gymnastics, arguing over figures and lexical ambiguities can absolve the West Pakistani leadership of their crimes.

You can continue to believe what you want to, just don't expect us to forget our dead.

The whole world backs our side of the story, the US embassy blood telegrams are clear proof but sure quote that shill Sarmila Bose or some other conveniently doctored piece of "evidence", whatever helps you feel better at night.

History will come back to haunt those who rather conveniently decide to forget it en-masse.

End of Discussion.

We're here now, you're over there, the way it was always meant to be.

We are happy to get along just don't expect us to forget everything, unlike you we can't press a button to forget, but we can forgive.

lol ..there was no constitution till 1956 so how you conclude the prime minister post was ceremonial..
how can an important post like prime minister be ceremonial
Prime minister heads all the cabinet ministers, chief ministers secretaries, additional secretaries. They are literally running the affairs. you have al lthe right to fool your fellow bengalis but you cant change facts..
as per you Liaquat Ali Khan was a ceremonial prime minister ...yet he was making important foreign policy decisions..
And how can you you even call your fellow bengali Khawaja Nazmudin a ceremonial guy.. he would have rather resigned than taken some thing that would make him a lame duck..he was one of the founding fathers..

The way you are comparing it to Pakistan's current president is actually hilarious..
More hilarious is to expose your weak history that the there were two Bengali Governor General uptil 1958(first martial law)

List of governor Generals

Muhammad Ali Jinnah Non bengali
Khwaja Nazmudin Bengali
Ghulam Muhammad Non Bengail
Iskender Mirza Bengali

Mujib was caught doing sceccionist stuff in 1962 with indians (agratala case) .. therefore he could not be made ruler of the country.. plain and simple..

Mujib would have broken the country either way, the establishment tried to use force to stop it.
Probably wasn't the best move, but hind sight is 2020

and you talk about "forgiveness" but you can't bring up 71 every day and then say "we can forgive"
forgiving means to stop harping on it and move on.

Nobody brought 71 up, this thread was opened by a Pakistani.

What makes you so sure about Mujib intentions ?

.
.
C'mon you and I both know that Bangladesh section does not go a few days without you guys bringing it up.
The very fact that you are on PAKISTAN Defense forum is proof it.

and he announced his intentions
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_point_movement
nothing unreasonable
there was virtually no army in the east... if india decided to invade or put a blockade it would be a walk in the park
and they did put a blockade didn't they? all pak navy had was patrol boats against aircraft carrier

.
Main point here is that bd guys and pakistani guys won't accept each other in this case. However from neutral point if view I am giving my assumptions in what I read:

1. The main protagonist compromised his position big time with a foreign power and no sane country would allow that kind of treachery to say the least, however point to be noted how he got free even with all the accusations like that .

2 The west pakistani leadership was too stupid and in my assumption Bhutto with his allignment with the Soviets played at the hands of Soviet at a big time.

3. Countless innocent lives were lost atrocities committed on both side which none wants to admit. And although Bengalis passed the horror phase but bihari muslims are suffering till now .
In this case I would give it to the Pakistanis on how they behaved with Bengalis inPakistan is much more humane . I may be wrong in my assumption.

Conclusion:
For effective solution both countries need to seat and form a joint investigation group under the watch of UN and international bodies and came to a definite end to the black era .

you are right about the military aspect, but there is a way to address that without out making a de facto separate country out of East Pakistan.

I think I and a lot of Pakistanis have now come to the conclusion that this experiment with 2 sides of the country so far away should not have been done. It was too difficult, with too many differences. Should have been 3 countries from the get go.

That was never the intention, ignoring his demands pushed him to that and I don’t think you can shift the blame on us. Mutual mistakes. I’m not gonna discuss who’s at fault more.
And yes, I agree 3 state should’ve been from get go... but I reckon then west Pakistan would have been called something else... and Bangladesh would’ve been called Pakistan
Or the names would have stayed as it was prewar but ruled by different govt.
