China is clearly NOT interested in SU-35BM.

China is much more satisfied in J-10A, JH-7A, J-11B.

J-11B's and J-15's radar will be eventually upgraded to the Su-35BM standards, give or take a few years.

An ex-SAC employee also mentioned multiple stealthy variants of the J-11B under development, to be ready and fully deployed within this decade.

It's only natural for Russia to offer Su-35 for sale when its copy is near completion. I recall the Russians complaining about the cost of restarting production lines early last year. Much can happen in 10 months with reverse engineers.
