A nation Hangs between religion and secularism !

Sharia as in whole is complete islamic law. Implementing it at state level will solve more problems than "incorporating limited aspects of Sharia that are in tune with modern values". By implementing i do not mean enforce it on minorities.

Who's Sharia? My version? Your version? Saudi version? Sunni version? Shia version? Religious scholar no.1's version or religious scholar no.4356's version?

Pakistan laws, many of them, and the laws of many nations are give and take very similar to what Sharia entails.

My advice is, if you wan't to live a Sharia compliant life, then go on, good for you, no-one should be able to stop you, similarly, there will be people who don't wan't that and don't wan't your version of said laws, let them do what they do.

Your religious beliefs and practices shape the kind of individual you are, they should have little to do with what society and the world around you is.

Pakistan was the vision of great men, many of whom were far more enlightened and pious individuals than you are, insult Mr.Jinnah again and you can go preach on some other forum.

relax dude .. Quaid-e-Azam is founder of Pakistan ... dont judge peoples .. only God can do this.
and if you really talk about jinnah , talk with some respect ... and we Pakistani didnt just respect him in words , those who know the value to live in a free land respect him more than ourselves ..

I presume that there's Islamic Law in Britain , pure Muslim? Ironic how a Queen subject living under secular laws is trying to malign our country and abuse our leaders and acting as the God's viceroy -an authoritarian on religion!

Possibly another teenager with raging religious hormones , seen quite a lot of them in my life in this country . Kids suddenly waking up and hoping to do something for the religion but mostly heading for the negatives and extremism!

You're right, I've seen my fair share, but this sort of thing I seldom see. It's only fitting that the post was so difficult to read and understand.

India Pakistan have no culture or history left. Only confusion. The Arabs came, then evolved the Mughals and then came the British. We will stay confused a little while longer. While the West keeps us guessing who we are by giving both of us candy.
