A Million-Dollar Smile Found in Gwadar

We have been hearing about this impending transformation of Gwadar since the days of Musharraf and even years before that. Almost 20 years has passed and the Pakistani military and establishment continue to brainwash their people some miraculous thing is about to happen in Gwadar.

Meanwhile, the people in Gwadar, like most of the Pakistani population, continue to agitate against the state and what’s seen as corrupt oppressive and self-serving obsessions of the Pakistani establishment.

Few photos posted online won’t whitewash the glaring failure of the Pakistani state and establishment.

Lets analyze this , objectively.

Is the business case Valid = YES
Is the port deep = YES
Do land lock need access = YES
Relations with land lock = YES

Is it Secure = NO

Whose job is it to secure it ? Faujis.
But you can't say that, because these warriors of hell have the emotional threshold of a teenage girl.
But they have the greed and business sense of a fat jew and hindu put together.

In fairness, when Shenzhen started its development process near the end of the 1970s it was also just a poor fishing village:

No reason Gwadar can't also grow into a modern city like Shenzhen with the right people, planning and effort.

Shenzen had a revolutionary government at the helm of affairs that won its sovereignty through rings of hell fire, purged its society of traitors & parasites, cleansed its elite through cultural revolution.

Gawadar has none of that.

All these photos showing helping poor people like medical check-up, ration distribution, etc can be replicated anywhere. Just Go to Mayo Hospital or some medical camp anywhere where poor people get treated daily. Gourmet gives away free food to the attendees.

Of course. It took the collective efforts of the CCP and the people to turn China and its cities into an economic powerhouse.

Army, bureaucracy, judiciary, legislative of Pakistan are at best a local street gang who are interested in paedophilia and rape. Cant build a Shenzen out of street rats now can we.

I really don't understand how one can mess this up so bad 😂

You are neighbors with an economic and military hyperpower that is on its way to becoming a superpower.

They were willing to invest to get access to warm water.

Pakistan says yes, then does weird faujeet promos for 7 years...then nothing really happens except for some photos by faujeet troll farms showing development and the occasional protests by Baloch people there.

The thing you are missing is that Pakistan cannot help itself. It is incapable of doing so.

The Pakistani people, at large, welcomes Chinese investment and cooperativity. Even Afghanistan has said they looked forward to it.

However, the people in power don't seem to care and just want their cash cow.

The thing you are missing is that Pakistan cannot help itself. It is incapable of doing so.

No, it is the wrong statement...Pakistan like the rest of the South Asian nations is full of ambitious and hard-working people...But you guys never asked the right question yourself when your army has posted such pictures.

The military and Army's Job is to protect the nation and the safety of its border. Did they successful?

If Army is shown as a savior amongst poor people, it is also another failure of the Army which is not supposed to do such activities in a nation. Nation-building is done by civilian leaders irrespective of whether they are corrupt or not. It is better to have a corrupt civilian leader who puniished through the electoral process than a military dictator who runs the country like their own regiment.

well why doesnt he do anything for release of hidayat ur rehman? have the illegal checkpoints rolled up? haev the people of gwadar gotten access to common utilities? are they being uplifted? is any money being spent to upgrade their vessels, build a community owned packaging plant, and facilitating exports for sea-based products so that the community can be uplifted? are any solid steps being taken to stop fishing in balochistan's seas by fishermen from sindh as well as foreign trawlers?
