The problem is you are only looking at problems from 70 years not solving, Muslim have almost no representation in parliament (less the previous term of parliament), only 2.5% of bureaucracy/Govt Jobs despite being 14% of population, but still hindutva is biggest victim in your country, anyways don't worry about your neighbours, they will do much better without your state sponsored terrorism and interference in their internal political matters.

Boundaries, borders, nation states are all man made, God doesn't intend to do this, so left this uglier task to humans...to divide and rule, politicize and prosper, and let humanity suffers.

Nationalism, blind patriotism(to the extent of hating other humans because of them belonging to a different nation) doesn't comes naturally to human beings...they are being inculcated and taught to hate others.

As the saying goes 'Patriotism is the last resort of an scoundrel'....you ain't patriotic just because of the hate you harbors for others...goes both ways.

In the mean time this Bulleh shah Kalam is an antidote, an antithesis for too much egoistic sentiments about his/her countries being superior(individuals alike), can trickle to races and cultures, ethnicities, region and religion....

So the Pan-Arabic movements in West Asia and Africa, and the Pan-African movements were the outcome of Pan-nationalism.

In our own subcontinent, there must be a Pan-South-Asian movement which will resolve all outstanding disputes, including Kashmir.

I being a socialist/communist believe in Internationalism/Transnationalism which is the next step after Pan-nationalism.

I read the translation for the song as I don't know Punjabi. It is what you said.

I agree that it is idealistic at the moment but with more 'Aman ki asha' meet-ups and reduced cross-firing across the LOC, we can expect more work towards a Pan-South-Asian/Pan-SAARC progress.

About LOC, I wonder why can't United Nations Organization observers be posted along the LOC on both sides.

Well, Kashmir is kept boiling by both sides, for what purpose I don't know. This is a thread I posted in 2015. It is Muammar Gaddafi's essay about Kashmir with the solution in two parts - (a). A temporary unified greater Kashmir, (b). A unified greater subcontinent.
