A country such as India not being a permanent member of the [UN] Security

loll i sometimes find it funny how a bunch of 5 countries think they can shape the world politics. Even if india joins in the only matter india will be concerned first is kashmir. how can we forget the Congo and rwanda failures where the biggest genocides of africa happened in presence of UN forces.
what abt Iran, they keep putting sanctions but Iran shows middle finger and keeps working on nuclear weapons and now is also working on its own nuclear fusion reactor. what abt North Korea? Can someone give me a few successfull missions of UN that really impacted world politics.

.
there are already 3 European countries in the P5 but only 1 Asian country that being China, India deserves a seat to the SC as for Japan i doubt the Chinese will let them in the SC.

Both Japan and India are severely hated by copy cat party. So don't expect much from them

It should be obvious that the winners of World War II where the ones that became permanent members of the Security Council. Japan and Germany lost WWII, so they didn't become permanent members. Similarly, India was a colony in the runup to the UN, so it too did not become a permanent member.

Last time we check it's the wannabe Indians copied the entire political system from their previous ruler and even making their language as the official one.

You got the last part right as you lot need our permission to join, and we are not considering that ATM, lol

The Chinese who oppose India joining the permanent members should remember that Nehru declined an American offer of a permanent seat in favor of China. Without that, China might have ended up unable to join the security council.

Completely wrong. This is an urban legend that has been proven wrong time and time again, yet all Indians seem to believe in this same urban legend.

Here are the facts:

The Hindu : Miscellaneous / This Day That Age : dated September 28, 1955: UN seat: Nehru clarifies

Prime Minister Nehru has categorically denied any offer, formal or informal, having been received about a seat for India in the UN Security Council. He made this statement in reply to a short notice question in the Lok Sabha on September 27 by Dr. J.N. Parekh whether India had refused a seat informally offered to her in the Security Council. The Prime Minister said: "There has been no offer, formal or informal, of this kind. Some vague references have appeared in the press about it which have no foundation in fact."

"The composition of the Security Council is prescribed by the UN Charter, according to which certain specified nations have permanent seats. No change or addition can be made to this without an amendment of the Charter. There is, therefore, no question of a seat being offered and India declining it.''

Please read BOTH paragraphs from Nehru's speech.

At that point, the UN permanent seat was being held by the ROC (Taiwan) which was a close ally of America. Why would America kick out their own close ally, and replace them with a Soviet-friendly India? Does that make any sense?

This is utter BS spread even in Indian medias. When UN was found, India as a nation was not even independant. And China was not in UN until 1971. How could American offer a seat to India who is closer to Soviet Union?

No country wants to share power with others, if India currently holds a seat, will it support China in?

1. English is not the only official language of INDIA. Anyways, a troll like you won't understand the plural nature of India/South-Asia.

2. We needed your permission in NSG ? You couldn't do squat then and you wont do squat in future. PERIOD.

Republic of China was never fully colonized so "independence" doesn't apply. It sided with US/SU and became the winner of WII in 1945, thus got the UNSC seat as one of the major winning members.
