Why is everybody crazy about this S-400. Is it that good?
I wish we never know it in real battle. But it is the best air defence system this world ever seen.

Not really

These systems are like a cancer prevention patch, it may not really be effective but atleast it calms your mind

Turkey and Russia showing how diplomacy should really work 12 months after Turkey shot down those junk MIG fighter from the brink of war these 2 countries are closer then they ever have been.

Pakistan and our neighbour to the east which is seen as a bully and aggressor by nearly all its other neighbours could learn alot from the Turkey russia alliance.

This is a good news.
Turkey will be safe, but @vostok Is there any agreement that this system doesn't fall into NATO's hands?

Or Turkey is truly leaving NATO?!!!

I'm completely confused, Idlib is now full of Russian forces. An other good news of today.

All i know, S-400 and it's sub-system should never be analyzed by American scientists otherwise S-300-PMU2, S-400 and future S-500 wouldn't be more than sitting ducks on the battlefields !!!

I am sure that measures were taken to prevent NATO engineers from gaining access to critical codes.

Turkey and Russia have agreed to replace some of the OPSEC-critical Russian components with Turkish equivalents so that there's no chance of certain Russian military/technical secrets ever leaking to NATO. This is in part why Russia agreed to some of the components being manufactured in Turkey.

That said, this is indeed a paradigm shift in Russo-Turkish relations and a significant geopolitical development as Turkey happens to be a NATO member, a G20 major economy and an EU applicant. But I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that Turkey is eventually leaving NATO. In this case it's simply Turkey sticking up for its own national interests rather than those of the USA.

Thumbs up to Turkish diplomacy. A case for Pakistan.

You mean to say Turkey is sticking up for its own national interests rather than those of NATO, correct? I don't see the purchase of S-400 is necessarily an anti-US move, but it's definitely an anti-NATO one. If Turkey is so bent on going its own way, perhaps the time has come for Turkey to leave NATO and seeks a new alignment?

Greece S-300 since the 90s,should Greece have left NATO?
Dont try to troll.

Agree to some extent. However, it depends on which direction Turkey's leaders want to usher their country into. Something that isn't clear as of yet.

No, it's specifically an anti-US decision as Turkey has opted to pay the $2.5 billion to a Russian company for the S-400 AND also signed a deal with Eurosam for the SAMP/T. Please see:

While the former is not a NATO purchase, the latter is (European). This only leaves the US out.

It's also worth mentioning that Turkey has singled out the US partly because US's harboring the Gulenists/FETO, which is an Islamist and anti-Turkish terrorist group.

Turkey's moves are hurting no NATO country other than the US.

Don't know for others, but great news for KORAL EW systems developers for now they can test, modify and upgrade their system by putting it against real-life S-400....
