You don't understand that region
Pakistani have a deep seated hatred for the Hindu because they rightly so consider them a enemy
If the experience of Indian Muslims is understood Pakistani were ALWAYS right about this
But since 1947, the afghans have been more intent on attacking, killing, murderous Pakistani then literally anyone else
You can look up the history, Pakistan did nothing to them and they were launching attacks
In essence this goes back to the previous century when Afghanistan sold the region and it's people, to the British empire
They took money for the land and then when independence happened they decided, they would retake the area something Pakistan was obviously not going to tolerate
I will say this honestly, if the TTP etc were Hindus, we would have torn them to pieces and every supporter, member, village suspected would have been bombed to hell
The issue is one of ethnocentric extremism that keeps the population backwards, ignorant and inclined to murder and bimbo
Truth be told they can never really take any area, what they can do is commit attacks that achieve little except death
Most of the killed are from the same areas as terrorists,
10 terrorists fight 10 security and 10 police, everyone dies and in the end their are 30 dead pashtuns
30 pashtun funerals etc
Because if the delicate ethnic mix the military can't go hard and brutal, so it's a gradual process of border security and security eradicating the groups by sheer pressure and assignations whilst taking the body blows
The Afghan Republic had to fall, the strategic threat was too great, but this fall out of a consequence that will need to be countered
