8 killed as (Pak) jets hit hideouts in Tirah

No, what we have is an area out of the govt's control. How can the GoP or Army stop drones in NWA when the region is not even in their control? Keep in mind that the drone attacks have almost exclusively been limited to NWA for the past two years because it remains the only militant stronghold in Pakistan.

Why cant Pakistan send its armed forces in and crush those militants and take em out? Why did they just let that region be in militant control?

Americans did a much better job with precision strikes. Botched strike missions by PAF resulting in higher collateral damage seems perfectly acceptable.

No one wants to make photochopped pictures of maimed kids now ?

Sheeple, everyone of you.

So who would you like to take out terrorist elements in your country ?
The indian army or some army from the neighbours? Please explain to me how bothof these strategies are the same ? Which of these strategies could be digested by your civilians without social meltdown ?

Reminds me of Ibn Said/Aesop's fable ''The miller, his son and the donkey''

I can attempt to reason people of Pakistan hate drone strike.

They suspect that Droning is basically used against persons attacking americans in Afghanistan while rarely used against the organisations attacking Pakistani cities. So Pakistan does not get tangible benefits even after violation of sovereignity.
Morever, Americans use drones to make some sort of political statement also.

Thats why Pakistan Army has stopped listening to opinion from Abroad and the so called Liberals of Pakistan..
All you guys want is to create fuss on everything they do..
Weren’t you and many others condemning here....commenting in favour of a military operation in waziristan against militants ?

Are you suggesting the area to be outside Pakistan or not part of Pakistan? Having no control is one thing, having no long term strategy to bring the area into control is an altogether different. NWA is a Pakistani territory and hence any attack there is an attack on Pakistan.

What are you talkin about man? Have you been to that area to say that the Americans did a "better job"? And who are you comparing it against?

Lets say a bunch of terrorists harming Pakistan have holed up in Rajasthan. Would you let the PAF bomb Rajasthan?

Ridiculous. Pakistan has an army that is quite capable of handling all of these things if they commit their forces. No other country should violate another country's international borders and drone strikes are indeed a violation. Or if you are gonna say this "just because" its Pakistan, then your judgement is as screwed up as the drone strikes.
