Wow!!!!
I got some right guys to answer my query today. Thank you @SvenSvensonov and @SpArK that was a lot of info, much more than what I'd expected. I had tried reverse searching the screen shot but google failed to help me this time. Thanks once again.

Just learnt that Indian Navy P-8Is conducted search operations for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

Just learnt that Indian Navy P-8Is conducted search operations for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

Indeed, when the plane was suspected to have headed towards the A&N islands the IN deployed some P-8Is (and other assets) to make sure that Indian waters were clear of debris and then when the spotlight shifted the IN deployed P-8Is to Malaysia to assist with the search there but this got very little attention.

One thing that strikes me is why the IN didn't deploy the region's most capable MPA to Australia when the hunt moved to the Southern Ocean. Remember the USN brought some of their P-8As in to work alongside the Aussie Navy's P-3s, perhaps India never received an official request of assistance.
