MK not addressing it to you.
There is always a flip side of the 'failure,' which is 'lessons learned. Winston Churchill famously said, "Never let a good crisis go waste'. Failures and crises are in a way blessings, and smart leaders/governments/armies/generals learn from them. So F-35 is not a failure; it opened up many many opportunities and established a whole new ecosystem for the US and other military complexes. JF-17 is another example of leveraging opportunities from the crisis (sanctions and not securing a decent aircraft on time).
Easy to give 100% when you are fighting people that cant fight back.

It mainly depends of the deepth of the wreck. For USN but after all for China. Not the same problem to operate in -500 meters than in -5000 meters. But if they leave pieces, China will still try to recover those as well. I’m sure the US navy will try their best to recover the whole thing.
But if they do leave pieces it would be interesting to see how they try to destroy if there are any fragments left behind.
The Chinese probably had multiple surface warships trailing the carrier, so when it happened they were instantly aware of it and the exact location the plane went into the sea. Which is also probably why the news was released to the public. It mainly depends of the deepth of the wreck. For USN but after all for China. Do china have the same salvage equipments than USN ?
And USN has a big asset : they perfectly know where the wreck is. Probably not China. And it's not the same to found a sub or destroyer wreck, with full amont of steel, than a figher one, with frame mainly made of composite and few magnetic steel.
Doesn't look like a cable rupture. And the coms, while unintelligeble indicate they saw the crash comming, ruling out the cable rupture excuse. Assuming its real. Here at last a little more clarity about the course of the accident...
Another sourgrape comment. For every mishap we had, US aviation made thousands advances. Your China have not been a non-contributor since the dawn of aviation, so the real joke is on you.
Surely there is something wrong with its thrust engine. Here at last a little more clarity about the course of the accident...

An F-35C operating of USS Carl Winson has crashed while landing, the pilot ejected but several sailors were injured.
Toughest job to land a aircraft at the moving ship.
Yeah, right before hell freezes over...Are F-16s still on the table?
I have some hope it may be possibleYeah, right before hell freezes over...
F-16's won't come without strings attached - and i'm not even going down the lines of End-User Agreement.
