My Pakistani friend two things :-
1. Condition which India faces during Kargil war, was the same which Pakistani faces in the Siachin Glacier i.e India is on the height and Pakistani on the lower ground, and the general Parvez Mushraff with its Commandos have also tries his best to take over the heights with the Indian control for years. This give you an Idea, how difficult was the terrain, India could easily dislodge the occupant, if the political leadership decided not to cross the LOC to cutoff the supplies, and attack the positions from the back side.
2. It was the Takla N. Shariff who ran to the Bill clinton, to stop Indians to stop pounding the Pakistani positions in the Kargil, to give them safe passage. NOw NS ran to bill clinton, not on his own, but it was asked by Parvez Mushraff to save his *** why ? Because IA have started pounding the positions with the artillery, which took more than 1 month to get positioned on such mountainous terrain, and the Laser guided bombs from the sky, by the IAF in operation Safed Sagar. The intercepted telephone call of the P Mushraff from China was provided by the China to India, which shows the desperation of the Pakistani to save their lives.
And Now 2 Bad things happens
1. Indian political leadership denies the IA request to mount reverse Kargil, at that time which could be completed within 20 days easily, and capture the best infilteration routes of the terrorist to cross the border, and Pakistan could never start what is know as Neelum project and CPEC in the occupied land.
2. Wrong perception that N Shareef never knows the plans of the P mushraff to go for the Kargil Misadventure. He was fully aware of the operation, and even visited the area when the preparation was going. India should know that Pakistan will keep on trying to hurt India, let any government comes to the power because, without the use of the Kashmir Agenda in the manifesto, no party could win the election.
