The crash of an American F-16 fighter jet in the state of New Mexico on Tuesday (Tehran time) increased the number of crashes in the country in the last two months to at least seven.
At least seven F-16 fighter jets have crashed in the past 60 days, Sputnik news agency reported, citing US officials and the media.
This morning, Tehran time, it was reported that a US Air Force F-16 Model C fighter jet crashed while attempting to land at New Mexico State Air Force Base.
According to American media and officials, the pilot was able to "eject" and save his life before it crashed and collided, and of course he was injured.
"No details have been released on the cause of the crash, but it has added to the troublesome recent incident involving US Air and Navy aircraft," Sputnik reported.
According to the report, at least seven American fighters, including the F-15, F-18, F-22 and F-35, have crashed in the last 60 days.

The US F-16 CM crashed during a training mission at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina on June 30, killing its pilot.
On June 18, a F-18 fighter crashed into the Philippine Sea, but two of its pilots were able to eject before crashing.
On June 15, a US F-15 fighter jet crashed off the coast of the Northern region, killing its pilot and eventually the wreckage was found bt the British Coast Guards.
June 9, It was reported that an F-35 fighter crashed at Hill Air Base in the country and overturned when the aircraft landed.
An American F-35 fighter also crashed during a training flight on May 19, but the pilot was rescued.
On May 15, a US F-22 fighter jet crashed 20 km from Eglin Air Force Base in western Florida.
