$65 Billion Effort to Train Afghan Army is Failing

...........

I realized you had some comprehension issues, but this big, I could not have imagined.

Anyway, you were comparing Afghanistan's economy to some startups in US and I told you where the US was really interested in Afghanistan and that was not her economy but her poppy and rare minerals! Some that you don't even understand the use of!

Afghanistan will eventually collapse to its ethnographic distribution and end up getting into two fractions which has been there since decades. There are Pashtoons and Tajiks and they will stand as independent entities.

What US can do is accept bipolar Afghanistan and support two ethnographic governments in the areas of their respective controls. The center can stay in Kabul as a ceremonial government. But that means USA would have to deal with all three governments independently and keep judging them all at once. Tough job but there are no alternates.

Now if future Afghanistan looks like this, say good bye to Indian designs of Chah Bahar port ;)

If Afghanistan divides into two, there might be a major pashtunistan movement in Pakistan

lol ask any random pathan their views on kabulis and you would know ho much traction this faceless movement has

. . .
Lol they call all afghanis kabulis kabhe gaye bhe ho kpk

Oh phaa jee, I'm sure I'm an older and more experienced person than you. Kabuli in Peshawar means a farsiwan tajik. The Pashtuns of KPK recognize Pashtuns of Afghanistan as their own. Maybe a local from there can tell you. @Samandri

Ha my pathan friends in Abottabad and Peshawar call all afghanis kabulis

. . .
But we've got a plenty of Pashtun nationalists in Pakistan. They're probably the most nationalistic people in Pakistan in general.

Only a fool would leave a union with nuclear security and breadbasket Punjab for shitty caves and mountains.

Only Peshawaris use word "kabalay" for Afghans, even i was surprised to hear it when i first landed in Peshawar....apparently they use this word for Afghans of all ethnicities. Its a misnormer as not all Afghans in Peshwar are from Kabul region.

In rest of KPK , its the not the case , Afghan-Pashtuns are either properly called Afghanay or "mahjar" (Mohajir). The Kochi nomads from Afghanistan in southern KPK are called "pawandan" by us. Those near border address them more specifically, Shinwari of Nangarhar will be called Shinwari by Afridi of Khyber, Zardan of Paktiya will be called zadran by wazir of NW.

Possible only with the inflow of large funds and foreign assistance. Afghanistan got exhausted and breathless in the attempts of stirring Pashtunistan movement in KPK and tribal areas in 50s and 60s, but they just wasted their money. The tribes along durand are very hard to maneuver , you have to sit and make deals with each Malik and there are hundreds and thousands of them. The Third Anglo-Afghan war, to liberate KPK and FATA , failed due miscalculation and wrong assumptions, Lar Pakhtuns didnt rise in rebellion, they were disinterested.Only one movement in the history was able to win their support , the Sufi Roshnai movement , which fought against Mughals in tribal areas for 70 years.

Faqire of ipi of waziristan did started Pashtunistan movement but it failed due to lack of support from traditional maliks, in fact he had already lost the support of clans in 40s in his war against British empire. British bought the Maliks of NW, so Faqir had to rely on support from various individuals rather than clans. Faqir of IPI demanded crores of rupees from Afghanistan to fuel his Pashtunistan movement but Afghanistan didint have that much money. So the movement failed.

KPK would never respond to such calls, the people here are accustomed to be ruled by non-pashtuns since Mughal times. FATA and PATA were sensitive areas during British times, and its from here where Taliban have sprung in Pakistan. PATA's last turbulence was Fazlullah, its pacified now. While the FATA has not been pacified and is prone to the stirring and maneuvering by others (America takes huge interest in FATA). If Afghanistan gets divided on ethnic lines , it will have huge impact on FATA and its people will definitely be approached by Pashtuns of other side. I dont know what will be their response, their businesses and livelihood are dependent on Pakistan, not Kabul or Kandahar.

Only a fool would leave a union with nuclear security and breadbasket Punjab for shitty caves and mountains.
The same breadbasked which refuse to sell us wheat when ever there is shortage in KPK?.....and those nukes are ticking time bomb, might be used on tribal areas instead of India, people of KPK have huge number of cancer cases as nuclear waste is dumped in their areas along Indus.

Throughout her history, Afghanistan was a shit hole and it will remain so in foreseeable future. Only solution is to divide the country between North and South, so at-least the development of North Afghanistan is not impeded by the South, which is nothing but a dead weight.
You must be high on Paan, Northern Afghanistan is not developed or it is as much developed as South........Most importantly, most of the mineral resources are found in south and east of Afghanistan including 1 trillion dollars worth world's largest lithium ores in Ghazni
