If Afghanistan divides into two, there might be a major pashtunistan movement in Pakistan
Possible only with the inflow of large funds and foreign assistance. Afghanistan got exhausted and breathless in the attempts of stirring Pashtunistan movement in KPK and tribal areas in 50s and 60s, but they just wasted their money. The tribes along durand are very hard to maneuver , you have to sit and make deals with each Malik and there are hundreds and thousands of them. The Third Anglo-Afghan war, to liberate KPK and FATA , failed due miscalculation and wrong assumptions, Lar Pakhtuns didnt rise in rebellion, they were disinterested.Only one movement in the history was able to win their support , the Sufi Roshnai movement , which fought against Mughals in tribal areas for 70 years.
Faqire of ipi of waziristan did started Pashtunistan movement but it failed due to lack of support from traditional maliks, in fact he had already lost the support of clans in 40s in his war against British empire. British bought the Maliks of NW, so Faqir had to rely on support from various individuals rather than clans. Faqir of IPI demanded crores of rupees from Afghanistan to fuel his Pashtunistan movement but Afghanistan didint have that much money. So the movement failed.
KPK would never respond to such calls, the people here are accustomed to be ruled by non-pashtuns since Mughal times. FATA and PATA were sensitive areas during British times, and its from here where Taliban have sprung in Pakistan. PATA's last turbulence was Fazlullah, its pacified now. While the FATA has not been pacified and is prone to the stirring and maneuvering by others (America takes huge interest in FATA). If Afghanistan gets divided on ethnic lines , it will have huge impact on FATA and its people will definitely be approached by Pashtuns of other side. I dont know what will be their response, their businesses and livelihood are dependent on Pakistan, not Kabul or Kandahar.
Only a fool would leave a union with nuclear security and breadbasket Punjab for shitty caves and mountains.
The same breadbasked which refuse to sell us wheat when ever there is shortage in KPK?.....and those nukes are ticking time bomb, might be used on tribal areas instead of India, people of KPK have huge number of cancer cases as nuclear waste is dumped in their areas along Indus.
Throughout her history, Afghanistan was a shit hole and it will remain so in foreseeable future. Only solution is to divide the country between North and South, so at-least the development of North Afghanistan is not impeded by the South, which is nothing but a dead weight.
You must be high on Paan, Northern Afghanistan is not developed or it is as much developed as South........Most importantly, most of the mineral resources are found in south and east of Afghanistan including 1 trillion dollars worth world's largest lithium ores in Ghazni
