Clearing the cookies, cache, closing the browser and restart login again has fixed the issue.

i just changed to chrome and its okay now?

same here,chrome used to crash<for the first time in my life>while loading pdf,so i switched to mozilla,thereafter babe running smoothly!

Chrome on Linux. But this should be browser independent. Still having the same problem as of now.

In order to log out, the browser must be closed after reception of that 'page not found' white web page, then the browser re-open, then there will be a successful log out.

Yup...Verified over and over many times. If there is a 'Page not found' error when attempting to log out, close browser, re-open, then there will be a successful log out. Else there would be that endless loop. What kind of cookie management is this?

There is no fix for this, for now.

That is just simply bad hosting service. I have duplicated this problem in two different states in the same day, on a desktop box and on a laptop.
