Pakistan, the land of peace, is known for many facts and incidents around the world. But there are some facts that I believe not many know about. Facts that will make you fall in love with Pakistan, once again

1. Nuclear King of Muslim World

Pakistan tested its first Atomic blast in May 1998 Baluchistan. After doing that, Pakistan has become 6th country in the world to have nuclear power and the first Muslim country to do so. There were many controversies surrounding the nuclear status of Pakistan. Pressure was built up to weaken the government decision. Not did Pakistan tested its nuclear power but also established itself as a strong nation.​

2. Oldest Civilization ​

Pakistan has a rich history of civilization and culture. The country is on 6th number for having one of the oldest civilizations in the world. But the sad part is that government has played a minimal role preserving this old heritage. Moen Jo Daro, Harappa are few to name here.

Don't you think we need to start promoting the GOOD things about our country first so people atleast have a good recall. Economy, science technology and all these advancements can come later once we are known with good words. terrorism has nothing to do with appreciating the good things that still EXIST in your country..

Not the case with those people who wake up at three in the morning and sweep roads till the night, do they love their work?. But it speaks up for themselves and you feel sorry for them and give them a smile or a pat on the back. Not the case with those who unclog the gutters, do they love their work?. But you can't have a working sewage system without them, you have to be a spinning cog in the machine to make it note worthy.

Till you remove this from your mentality we aren't going anywhere. Have you heard of the 7 minute miracle?. To be a strong wall you need all the bricks, even if you're one short your wall will topple. You can't dwell in the glory of the past, yes this nation has come a long way. Of all the things in that link, the only thing which made me proud is the irrigation system, despite the fact that it has ruined vast lands in Sindh and Punjab and the Gawadar port.
