When you're refusing to even see a problem and not release data - isn't exactly showing a rosy picture
You only stop giving out proper data when problem becomes our of control and you start hiding it

US as a society is 100% times more peaceful than India can ever dream of being, I hear more about almost daily lynchings in India than I hear about mass shootings in US

So just back your statement with proof. You made an allegation, you prove it. What I provided is not govt data from US, but media generated reports and listings.

Proof is one society stops publishing data cause it looks bad and is increasing- for years now

You search lynchings and it's almost a daily occurrence of sort- when not all lynchings are reported either!

But I am 99% sure there are way more lynchings happening in India than there are mass shootings happening in US, you don't need to be a genius to figure this out
Cause there's almost a daily news of some lynching happening in India

While in US mass shooting isn't exactly a daily occurrence forget weekly, it still creates headlines unlike what's happening in India
Who due to frequency of lynchings find it easy to ignore while in US you still see discussions and uproar when a mass shooting happens

A- why are you bringing homicide rates in a discussion on mass shootings?
B- it's similar to rape data
On paper rape situation in India is much better than US or any Western country
But it's not in reality, not every killing is reported, not every suucide is reported, not every murder is reported
If some powerful man murders someone, you can't file a murder report on him
While in devaloped countries this is not the case

So on paper data comparison is a bit disenganous

if this happened in any other Western country, this would by headline news for months, but in Murica, the body count is way too low to keep in the headlines. Sandy Hook was not the beginning of Murica's serious discussion on gun violence, but it was the end of it. Little kids being slaughtered was OK for Murica's crazy gun culture.

I was in Denver a month ago and it was cold and miserable place. Wouldn't want to live there. Prefer San Jose any day over any city or state.

Moved out of San Jose area in the middle of pandemic after residing there for 30 years. Bay Area has gone to $hit.

The trend I have hypothesized are the “mobile working and middle classes”; i.e. transient population. Have a lot of people with untreated issues that come to the fore in these incidents. A large influx of people into Colorado in the past few years.

I wonder how much the legacy of the Columbine school shootings have effected the locals in Colorado.

Texas has influx towards Dallas and Austin but in turn has Texans heading to Colorado because the Texas coastal air is worse than sarin gas and carcinogenic as well.
