Iran is in Syria legally because the Syrian Government invited us to fight against jihadists sent from across the world (and aided by zionists as eisenkot recently admitted) to destroy secular syria, what is the legal authority for the US to be in Syria?

in iraq maybe that's true but in syria the biggest threat was always other islamist groups, filled with 50,000 radicals that came to syria for jihad and armed and funded by the US, Israel and KSA to the tune of billions
