The Indians have been treating the Kashmiris like enemies for a long time now and the situation has started to really get hot lately.

If the keep linking every act of violence in Kashmir with Pakistan and pumping up the public into war hysteria every time something happens, things will come to a head sooner than later....

Had it been the days of 2007-2013 when Pakistan was really down, the Pakistan might have gone for a do-or-die war against India in front of Indian provocations. But the new Pakistan is emerging and really wants peace. Contrary to what many believe, India CAN afford tension at its borders with Pakistan because, even if northern India is affected, there is much else in India where economic activity continues. Pakistan's industry, population is mostly near Pakistan's eastern regions.

PS. In yesterday's Moeed Pirzada show a Pakistani commentator said that in a 'defensive' war, Pakistan is more than a match for India even in a conventional war.
