Sri Lankan official says this is related to the NZ mosque attack. I really want to know are there people in our community who think like this? What did Sri Lankan people do to them? The attacks were planned earlier than Christchurch attacks and the NZ attacker was an atheist and had no religious motive. The attack was motivated by White Nationalism which has zero relevance to SL.

Also Muslims should report to local authorities any figures doing hate speech or irrational speech or dehumanization of non-Muslims. And let make it clear to Muslim viewers of the forum living in the West or other nations with non-Muslim majoritys, you are not to get yourself involved in political disputes in this manner at any time. Stop worrying about the middle east the people there will take care of themselves and politics is complicated there.

It takes time for region like ME to see freedoms and prosperity. And another problem I see is fake news/photos being shared on internet. Lots of twitter/FB pages publish fake photos of stuff they claim is massacre of Muslims in so and so place. And other way around there are people who post fakes news/photos of stuff they claim is Muslim massacre of Christians. FB and Twitter need to get their shit together and ban these people posting ridiculous fake news just for hits or to spread more hate. Only reputable sources should be taken seriously.

It is a very strange thing that such kind of "revenge" or "retribution", which essentially implies that the innocent and unrelated people are targeted and inflicted upon, for the crimes or wrongs of the others, owing to some sort of imaginary associations and linkages (religious, racial, ethnic, ideological), is a very common human phenomenon, since ancient times. Obviously, no religion, or for that matter, common ethics, can allow it. But, still, it is widely practiced and it is very easy to brainwash people, on this account.

Think about it. It has very wide implications. These imaginary associations, also, often translate space and time, in a very illogical and irrational manner.
