What's new

$350bn bid by 'Team India' for Afghan iron ore deposits.

:coffee:China's annual iron ore imports from India.
It is shows that China needs iron ore, not India.
You drink too much coffee... not good for health.

Yep... right now China needs more steel and it is importing from outside, but as India builds up its infrastructure, we will need more steel for our local markets and will export processed steel as well. You will need to find other sources for your steel plants.

u indians do ur bid waste ur money there,,and our babies hikmatyar and haqqani will take care or u,,,,;)

If Team india throws couple of millions to TTP, They will keep busy entire pakistan.

Indians are sure getting cheeky with each passing day :cheesy:

Thats what we thought about the LTTE and the Kachin rebels, in the end they did sting us.

It was just in jest to a Pakistani poster.

BTW it was Rajiv's mistake of disowning the path laid by his mother and going ahead with Operation Pawan that brought the LTTE into TN with its suicide bombs.

You're optimistic. Optimists are always very happy.

India is a net exporter of Iron Ore and a net importer of processed Iron and steel.

Afghanistan is producing iron ore, not Iron and steel.

And you will get a number of new locomotives in November 2011, China and India have signed the contract in June 22, 2010.

Talking about the Indian steel sector, Verma said that domestic companies currently have a production capacity of about 78 MT of the metal alloy and between April to December, 2010, the total production was estimated at 51.57 MT.

On the other hand, China''s current steel production capacity is estimated at 770 MT and is estimated to have produced about 627 MT during April-December,2010, the Steel Minister said quoting reports of two independent global think tanks of the sector -- Steel Business Briefing and Mineral Commodity Summaries, 2011.

This is for the Gurgaon Metro not the Delhi metro. Delhi Metro is by Bombardier and Hyundai Rotem.

Indian members are right, Chinese companies are manufacturing trains for subway linking Delhi and satellite city Gurgaon.

Under the deal, the Chinese supplier would hand over the first train in November 2011, and the other four trains were expected to be finished before March 2012, said Han.
The trains would go into service on the route linking New Delhi and satellite city Gurgaon. The trains, each with three carriages, were exclusively developed by China and designed to be energy-saving with less noise and electromagnetic emissions, he said

Apparently there are several subways under construction in India, and we fail to differentiate one from another.
