On September 20 2020, 3,051 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles took to the skies to break the record for the most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) airborne simultaneously

I wonder why they dont sell the system to other world cities, it's a more amazing show than fireworks.

It was amazing first time seeing this type of show. But it is getting old quickly. I hope people can use drones for more productive purposes. We Chinese had a history of inventing gunpowder but only excelled at using it for fireworks until those with advanced firearms knocked on our doors.

Good comparision gunpowder and fireworks.

I think a thousand weaponized drones acting together can be so much powerful than the singles one weaponized drones acting alone we've seen until now.

By the entertaintment point of view, maybe this system is cheaper than fireworks, if cities reuse again and again in each show.

These seems like mini drones so I am guessing it’s battery life wouldn’t have lasted more than 10 minutes.. it must have taken them a lot of effort and hours to create this

no doubt Chinese people are so hard working… I know replacing the batteries is not difficult so I reckon 3000 drones and 20000 batteries may have been used to create this
