Deputy village chief of Hoài Thanh from Bình Định province, Mr. Huỳnh Văn Trung has reported that a fisherman, Mr. Hồ Dễ, 31, has returned home safely after having been rescued by a Taiwanese boat.

According to Mr. Hồ Dễ, he was working for Phan Văn Điệm, the owner of the boat BĐ 96352 TS, which was fishing in Spratly island area. Suddenly, the boat was rammed into and sunk allegedly by a Chinese ship on June 19, 2012. The other crew members: Phan Văn Điệm, 45, Phan Văn Tuấn, 18, and Võ Văn Thanh, have been missing. This was a deliberate and barbaric act because if it was an accident, the Chinese ship should have rescued Vietnamese fishermen

The area around the Spratly Islands is a traditional fishing ground of fishermen of countries around as Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia... fishing there for hundreds of years.
In recent years, many times chinese has used vessel to run at high speed ram boat of Vietnamese fishermen to sink then turned and run away.

Why should we continue to see them as friends?

The story he posted las time turned out to be entirely false. At least he had an excuse-----it made news in the Phillipino press.
He was merely quoting. This time he stooped even lower, quoting from a Vietnamese dude's personal web page. Next time he probably will have to write his own sob story. Lets' all wait.
