RIP to the dead. Regardless of their religion, its also a great loss of skill.

It is a big loss to Pakistani Nation. Regardless of the circumstances any loss of life of Pakistani citizens is a sad event for our troubled nation. A nation is judged by how fairly it treats its minorities. It is sad when minorities are oppressed by religious zealots. I remember growing up in a very cosmopolitan Karachi with many Hindu, Christian and Jewish classmates in Higher Secondary level. It was really a sad day when one of my best friend who happened to be Jewish moved to Israel with his family. Even at age 16 I was aware of how much we needed our diversity and their departure was a loss of diversity in our country.

I recently reconnected with my Jewish friend, thanks to the power of facebook. As it turned out my Jewsih friend moved to the US after living in Israel for 20 years. For the last 20 years he has been living in florida and is now a US citizen. He still remembers the good old days in Pakistan and remembers his college cricket mates ( he was the captain of our college team and an all rounder).

My condolences to the family and friends of deceased doctors and may their murderers rot in hell.

only a sick mind people can do this ...
it does not matter that they are doctors or not .. they are human beings like us and citizens of Pakistan .. anyone who is behind this must be punished .... Its the duty of state to protect its citizens ... police should arrest anyone who is behind this .....

My point? That you say the right things but do little. You're not asking yourself, "What can I do to show Hindus they don't have to flee in terror?" For once a minority realizes that their leaders are being killed with impunity, why should they remain?

In the U.S. our civil rights movement didn't really pick up steam until white people were willing to put their bodies between black people and those out to deprive them of life or limb. Then the authorities began to change their ways.

i am doing my part by condemning this act and if i had a chance to raise my voice for the protection of minorities on bigger forums i will do the same ............
no only minority's leader get killed in terrorist activity but many muslim pakistani leaders are also died in terrorist activities so dont make it only a minority problem ... many people died in street crimes if some minority member died it does not mean that specifically they are targeted

there were hardly any issues of intolerance or any type of communal violence under the previous regime....the PPP govt. is too cowardly to take any definitive or effective action......the same people who were too scared and too cowardly to amend the blasphemy law so that it can no longer be abused

in this particular incident though -- i think it is more of an honour-based killing....i'm surprised the girl herself wasn't killed. She's lucky.

The patients that you didn't cure by speaking to them, are they cured when you use a megaphone?

no only minority's leader get killed in terrorist activity but many muslim pakistani leaders are also died in terrorist activities so dont make it only a minority problem...

If you throw up your hands and say, "Oh, I can't protect the minority, better to protect the majority instead" you essentially create a license for lawlessness, an evil circle which only grows in diameter. Protect a minority, however, showing that even the weakest are protected, and you begin a virtuous circle within which crime disappears.
