What's new

27th of Ramadan

The optimist sees the rose and not its thorns; the pessimist stares at the thorns, oblivious to the rose.
A wise man once said “Pessimism leads to weakness and optimism to power”
Yes, people of the world will face difficult times in history. To this day many people consider today's Pakistan a blessing. The geo-strategic location blessed with honest, loyal friends and brotherly countries we will rise to glory.
We as a pessimistic society complain of the glass half empty but fail to recognize the glass half full. We fail to recognize and honor achievements made in our long journey.
Pakistan zindabad! :pakistan:

When the picture is so dark how I can say its is colorful. I give credit to all previous governments we have had on their positive aspects, but at the same time if we sit down and pretend everything is fine then nothing will happen. It is our job to complain and it is the job of our choosen representives to try and address our problems. But at the same time I also konw things cant be done over night. They take time. I can complain all I want but the fact is I dont know what is going on inside the government. We can accuse our politicians of doing nothing but we dont really have anything to prove that. It is our job to complain and this should be the driving force of the politicians.
For example lets take the government that just came to power. The PML-N promised roti will be 3 or 4 repuees. We should keep on reminding them and just may be they will listen. The governemtn promised to address all the problems of the people and they should be constantly be reminded of their promise. Now at the same time credit should be given to what they have done right.

if Mr jinnah knew what we would have done to this country, he would probably have stayed in England.
Do you know that in the last 3 decades regionalism and sect based politics has led to more killings than war on terror in Pakistan. Have you seen the state which this nation is in. Two yrs ago we were dancing on the streets saying our reserves are 16 Billion. Where are we now. If you guys only knew what bull crap is fed to you and talked to economists they would have told you that this is just a bubble about to burst.

What do you say sir ........... about this person.

Was he a poppy eater crazy poet, always uttering meaningless poetry
and dreaming rubbish!!!

One night.... he happened to see the dream of Pakistan.

No body knows how he became Dr. in Philosophy.

He actually motivated Mr. Jinnah. He is responsible for all this mess.

He had no idea whats going to happen in next 60 years yet he claimed to have seen through the heavens.

He knew... there was sectarinism, yet he recommended a separate country to let them fight each other freely...

His whole idea is going to collapse...? No sir, never.

This nation will go through all the crises.

Hardships bring maturity.

My respected sir.... let the people strenghten their faith.

Their faith is their hope.
They will learn how to be disciplined, how to be united...

A nation does not need loyal friends & brotherly countries to rise to glory. It rises on its own hardwork, foresight, cohesion, economy among other things. Having all this, friends & brotherly countries come by them selves.

Could you pls translate this .

It means that this land is fertile enough to produce the essentials.... required to bring the nation up to glory.

These are the words of none but a man who is a philosopher also known as the "Poet of the East".

Let have a brief insight about this personality.

Sir Muhammad Iqbal born (November 9, 1877 – April 21, 1938) was a Muslim poet, philosopher and politician born in Sialkot, British India (now in Pakistan), whose poetry in Urdu and Persian is considered to be among the greatest of the modern era, and whose vision of an independent state for the Muslims of British India was to inspire the creation of Pakistan. He is commonly referred to as Allama Iqbal (علامہ اقبال‎, Allamah lit. Scholar.)

After studying in England and Germany, Iqbal established a law practice, but concentrated primarily on writing scholarly works on politics, economics, history, philosophy and religion. He is best known for his poetic works, including Asrar-e-Khudi—which brought a knighthood— Rumuz-e-Bekhudi, and the Bang-e-Dara, with its enduring patriotic song Tarana-e-Hind. In India, he is regarding for the patriotic song, Saare Jahan Se Achcha. In Afghanistan and Iran, where he is known as Iqbāl-e Lāhorī (اقبال لاهوری‎ Iqbal of Lahore), he is highly regarded for his Persian works.

Iqbal was a strong proponent of the political and spiritual revival of Islamic civilisation across the world, but specifically in India; a series of famous lectures he delivered to this effect were published as The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam. One of the most prominent leaders of the All India Muslim League, Iqbal encouraged the creation of a "state in northwestern India for Indian Muslims" in his 1930 presidential address. Iqbal encouraged and worked closely with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and he is known as Muffakir-e-Pakistan ("The Thinker of Pakistan"), Shair-e-Mashriq ("The Poet of the East"), and Hakeem-ul-Ummat ("The Sage of Ummah"). He is officially recognised as the "national poet" in Pakistan. The anniversary of his birth (یوم ولادت محمد اقبال‎ - Yōm-e Welādat-e Muhammad Iqbāl) on November 9 is a holiday in Pakistan.

I think you must have a proper reply my dear.

This land is fertile enough to bring the nation to glory. Let start from beginning.

>>> Pakistan Movement or Tehrik-e-Pakistan was the struggle carried out by the Muslims of British India to create a separate homeland in fear of losing their liberty to a Hindu majority state.
This struggle was led by the Muslim League and resulted in the partition of the British Empire in India. The movement was led by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, along with such leaders as Allama Iqbal, Liaqat Ali Khan, Fatima Jinnah, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, A.K. Fazlul Huq, and Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar among the many others.
In 1940, at the occasion of its general session in Lahore, Muslim League passed the Lahore Resolution (also known as Pakistan Resolution) that became the main objective of struggle for independence.By 1947, they got the objective.

Now tell who helped them? No Muslim country ever supported them. Even there was no OIC type of organization nor UNO was invited to look into the matter. A nation comes into being on its own can survive and flourish on its own. There are examples East Timor and Israel, neither they came into being on their own, nore they can survive on their own. ( Jsut for your info. your India too is not an exception here)

>>> Sino-Pakistani relations began in 1950 when Pakistan was among the first countries to break relations with the Republic of China on Taiwan and recognize the People's Republic of China.
The bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are close and friendly.
Relations between Pakistan and Turkey are a rare example of good relations between two countries in the broader Middle East.
Pakistan extended diplomatic recognition to the Kyrgyz Republic in 1991 and so on.
They all respect one another on "equal basis" so they care one another on the same basis. If you ever come across such high values.

>>> Pakistan began with virtually no military production capability. By 1951, Pakistan had created the Pakistan Ordinance Factory at Wah. The Heavy Industries at Taxila was established in 1971 as an equipment rebuilding facility followed in 1973 by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex at Kamra and so on.
After the success of its major developments in the defence industry the Defence Export Promotion Organization (D.E.P.O.) was created to promote Pakistani defence equipment to the world by inviting major and small players to the I.D.E.A.S. Exhibition, which is held annually at the Karachi expo center. In recent reports, the defence exports were worth over $500 million USD in 2006 and growing annually. Besides that Pakistan has its own nuclear doctrine based on genuine principles.
