according to Mr Shekha Gupta (senior bharati journalist) Su-30s went blind in the whole incident and couldn't spot the target his analysis make sense bcoz IAF is officially waiting for Rafale and S-400 delivery to counter Pakistan.. lol

Last but not the least i agree 100% that Modi will again try adventure with Pakistan thats bcoz we didn't go all bonkers and acted maturely on 27.. i dont know why our policy makers act as if they are bigger state then India and they can take whatever shit India will throw toward us. why they dont act as irrational as Israel? now lots of people will say i am warmonger but whatever.....

I can understand the feelings of a 15 year old as I too was one a long time ago.

But to educate you, in emergency situations, countries make exceptional decisions. If Modi or India could afford to go to war against Pakistan, Modi would have declared emergency and would have suspended elections to go to war; and I guess India wanted a small scale war with Pakistan to boost votes for Modi. However, India could not recover from the shock India got from Pakistan's response. The shooting down of an SU-30MKI from long range was too much for IAF to bear. And the Pakistani determination to launch 3 times the Missiles India wanted to launch at Pakistan was the final nail in the coffin.

All you can do is win diplomatically.

Army Chief? It was the ISPR which gave details of capture of 2 pilots, initially, and reverted to a single pilot later on. F-16's were all accounted for and audited by the Americans which proved beyond doubt that the 2nd Jet that went down, with 3 parachutes visible, was an SU-30MKI.

I can most certainly assure you that if IAF had been able to shoot down an F-16, that too with a Bison, they would not have run back to the hole from which they appear time and again; rather, IAF would have escalated the Air Battle until decimation of PAF. However, when the Indian and IAF pride the MKI was shot down from a good distance and that too by a Thunder instead of an F-16, it broke all morale of the Indian Air Force and Indian Military overall. And that was also the reason to revert to the idea of a Ballistic Missile attack instead of utilizing IAF any further!

Pulwama happened on wrong time.
India had to respond but didn't want to go into war like situation. Reason was clear. Because India want to elect and form a new govt first.
This is why India didn't respond on 28th Feb when Pakistan Airforce tried to attack on Indian soil. Pakistan succeeded to shoot down one Indian mig 21.
But why India didn't respond with its most latest fighter planes like Su -30 and Miraages when Pakistan tried to attack?
India could have shoot down all Pakistani planes if there was no election time in India. But India didn't want to go into war like situation then.
But now after election results after may 23rd , Modi is coming again.
India will hit more terrorists hide out across the LoC for sure with full force this time. India will not stop only on Masood Azahar. Pakistan can't calm India with the help of China to declare Masood Azahar a global terrorist. You need to do more for India to save yourself.

There is not much we could have done. After the quick return of the pilot by Pakistan, if India still tried to avenge 27th Feb, we would have looked like Daenerys Targaryen who burned down King's Landing despite King Landing's surrender. We didn't want to look bad before the world and also the added aspect of the looming elections and we could not have afforded serious tensions at the border. All these aspects worked in Pakistan's favour, of course in addition to our own air force's incompetence on that day. We were incompetent and Pakistan got lucky.

Now, India can't do anything unless another terror attack takes place from Pakistani soil. Then it will be another round.
