We do, Chinese also complain that we cross over to their territory hundreds of times every year. The conflict is limited to this only since 1967.

i think they were checking for preparedness of the Indians.. the policy of thousand cuts - though it was thought about by Pak is actually being implemented in the fullest by China. Should really admire their doctrine of constant irritation though.. needs a complete change of mind set to deal with it

These weapons WILL be used in a situation, say, China attacking Arunachal Pradesh Or Leh region. But if not a bullet has been fired for some considerable time, then of course the probability reduces. But then again, one can never be sure.
Albeit, if your assertion is directed towards the "timidity" of India or its "lack of resolve" to defend its territory. Well what can I say!

We defend against 5 times smaller nation in terms of population just like we defend against similar size nation. We just can't let a country attack without retaliation just because its smaller. Btw its 2 times, not 5 times firepower, i expected you to know that.
