We as Turks are very familiar with such provocations, done by infiltrators on both sides, what's happening in Cairo right now is done by spies who infiltrated both sides to damage Egypt and at the same time to manipulate to world in to believing that there is no other way than to rule those muslim ''beasts'' with iron fist!!

actually, it is more like Yemen that is a safe heaven for al-qaida members. look up the prisoners in guantanamo, a majority is from Yemen. not Egypt!

Turkey was dragged into secularism by the firm hand of Attaturk. He changed the script of Turkish language, banned hijab and forced Turks to adopt Western clothing among many of the strict measures. Do you seriously think the Mubarak would have been able to do all this in 1980s what Attaturk did in 1930s.

Don't know much about democracy, do you? What you are talking about is better described as mobocracy; the rule of the mob. In a real democracy, no trampling of minority rights can happen irregardless of the wishes of the majority. Certain rights are taken as inviolable & not open to domination by numerical majority. A simple example would be that it would not be possible to sentence people of a hated religion/ethnicity to death irregardless of majority opinion. That same principle of the law applies in many such instances. That is the true beauty of democracy.

i havent stated that the copts should be sentenced to death. in democracy the party that is the most popular and favourable wins. and in this case Egypt. the copts are a small minority, just like Arabs in Israel. they wont win a election but they still need their right.

The leader of the biggest party with the most seats becomes Prime Minister and he appoints his Deputy Prime ministers, so does the President of Israel.
