23 march the day we forget to feel the pride for the country.

So friends i waited alot for this day after since 5 years or more this day to come in my life again to feel the pride, and surely its very important for the coming generation to let them know the importance of this country whih they lack off.

I have posted the same thread on this topic previous year on same topic and now im doing it again.

So guys was 23 march going to celebrate this year or not ?

U feel proud but how does 10 year old kid ? When there is bombing, anarchy and killing is going on atleast some postive thing must be there like republic day celebrated to let them know their roots are strong

A 10 years old kid usually don't attend such functions...
her mother is strick and he has to do homework..
when he asks to go the reply he got is not now attend this when you will be a boy..
study now...

probably not due to law & order situation. also the cost of staging this spectacle is high. its about practicality. the armed forces are fighting an insurgency on our western borders.

Agreed that due to security situation the main event of Joint armed forces parade has not happened for the last several years, but all other functions go ahead and take place.

I miss the parade, every morning I use to get up to watch the whole parade & I feel very proud. I really miss it.

It is true that our new generation are not on the right direction & the reason is the amount of venomous brain washing this corrupt media is doing.

If the terrorists are successfuly keeping us from celebrating the very nation that we are defending
than the terrorists are winning.

It's been 12-13 odd years since we had any occassion that celebrated nationhood.

I am not sure how much more oxygen deprevation can this patient take.

this is the most BS argument anyone can have about suspending the parade on 23rd March, man WTF?? when you can guard processions and dharnas by taking proper measures why the hell cat you guard the parade on 23rd march?
