What's new

2016 Olympics Day 16 (final day): 8 countries win Gold Medals

China now came up to the top in both gold and total medals

China just got beaten back on medal counts by the US, with share number 1 with Australia and United States with number of gold with 3 gold each.

Would have expect China to have at least 5 maybe 6 gold by day 2...

first of all, your picture is a dead link..........

second of all, I am not being sentimental or rush. That's a genuine expectation, and that not just came from me, but a lot of punter expected China to have 5 or at least 5 gold by day 2.

There is generally no , "Summary" Show , of all events who won , focus is on athletes with few scenes from random games

Too bad in North America they just focus on their own athletes and coverage is quite poor missing out on flag raising and finals of events

Too much self centered coverage

There is almost no coverage of flag raising for Athletes from other countries

(To add to this early statement)

They will cover their members who lost in last place, instead of focusing on the winners from International community

. .
All these athletes take performance enhancing drugs and supplements ... key is to not get caught out in screenings otherwise all are tainted

You do know NOT ALL performance enhancing drug were banned, some are allowed, most supplement are allowed. The word "Banned" substance means something that is in the banned list for its illegal usage.

There are no way you will not get caught if you took those drug, the only way you can cheat is like you do what the Russian did, and if you take drug that is not in the banned substance list, then you are not doping.

.
why disappointed, we were never in their league, so shameful time for us in sports, aa country of 220 million sent only seven athletes.

the reason of disappointment is that only 7 athlete is representing Pakistan

Argh! Ok I'll fix it later. I have to upload the file manually since the thread hit the 8 pic link max. He didn't have a pic with a medal around his neck so Google failed me with the wrong pic

Edit: Fixed
