Good, The world still doubts that we have home grown terrorism. This proves that from where we are importing terrorists from.

You should watch what you type. I don't believe that many Pakistanis will agree with your highlighted sentiment :undecided:

GoP should grant approval of planting mines alongside the whole border. At least we can save our soldiers from these terrorists.

In a situation like this, mostly civilians will end up getting killed by the mines..

Lolz....200 militants tried to come to pakistan, 45 of them sent to hell? were they democrats officially visiting Pakistan?

But the number will remain lower than our people are being killed.

The borders are pretty fuzzy in that location. Its only the Pakistani stand that the terrorists came from across the border.. There is no proof of that. They could be holed up and could have attacked from inside of Pakistan too. The nature of the area is such that the same set of terrorists exist on the both sides of the border

because then karzai's sovereignty gets fu***d up. that's why we don't get into another country's territory. we like to respect other borders.

we have another specialist theory people...!!!

And then people think how 500+ Taliban terrorists could just escape from a Kandahar prison. Everyone knows these terrorists infiltrate from Afghanistan into Pakistan. Just like the 200 terrorists tried to infiltrate into Pakistan from Afghanistan, & 45 of them were killed.

There was also a recent incident where 200+ Taliban fighters tried to infiltrate into lower Dir a few weeks back as well.

It was the same Dir region where in the early 60s the Afghan government backed militants had infiltrated to create havoc but before our lazy army could reach our western border those infiltrators were already neutralized by our tribes and the captured ones were handed over to our lazy army. But time has changed since then. Instead of gradually sealing the pourous border to protect our people our army had different plans - now pay the price for the games our general play.

stupidity personified eh ?
These are the names of the officers of Pakistan Army that were actively part of that conflict.

Major General Atiq ur Rehman , GOC 17 Division
Brigadier Rehman Gul , IGFC
Lt Col Abdul Qarim , Comdt Bajur Scouts

The Nawab of Dir along with his Son , Khan of Jandol were to co-operate with the afghan intruders for the establishment of pakhtunistan with head quarters in Dir state.
Lt Col Abdul Karim along with a detachment of SSG plus the local tribes laid an ambush for the intruding afghan laskkar in which hundred of the intruders were killed and the Nawab of Dir was arrested.

The above account has been verified by the de-classified cables of the US missions in Pakistan from that time , so what have written is absolutely rubbish.

Nope. But you stated that their crossing into your country "proves where you are importing terrorists from. You are saying that Pakistan is importing (bringing in) terrorists from Afghanistan. That is where I suggested that you watch what you type

AFP: Taliban border attack kills 28 in Pakistan

Taliban border attack kills 28 in Pakistan

PESHAWAR, Pakistan — Hundreds of heavily armed Taliban besieged a Pakistani checkpost on the Afghan border for a second day Thursday, killing 23 police and five civilians in the deadliest fighting for months.

A senior police official told AFP that 500 militants, including Afghan Taliban from across the border and Pakistani Taliban, took part in the attack which began before dawn on Wednesday and continued more than 24 hours later.

Looks like Good Taliban and Bad Taliban are working together..

Afghan militants ambush Pakistan troops in Upper Dir:

About 200 insurgents, whom police say were wearing military uniform, ambushed a security checkpoint in Upper Dir, outside Pakistan's tribal areas.

Officials said army support had arrived at the remote checkpoint.

Upper Dir, which lies just outside Pakistan's volatile tribal areas, is regularly targeted by insurgents.

The militants began their raid on the town of Shaltalo in a remote, mountainous corner of Upper Dir district, near the border with Kunar province of Afghanistan, on Tuesday.

The military used heavy weapons and helicopter gunships to repulse the attack. Witnesses say the fighting has died down but sporadic gunfire is still being heard.

A Pakistani official said full details of the fighting were not known because communications with the remote area had broken down.

Several troops are reported to be wounded and officials say that three civilians have also been killed in the clashes.

"We have regained control of most of the area but fighting is still going on in some parts near the checkpost," senior police official Qazi Jamil ur-Rehman told the AFP news agency.

It is not clear which group the militants belonged to, but correspondents say that many of the various groups along the frontier are closely linked.

Securing the long, porous border that divides Pakistan and Afghanistan has been a major challenge for the two countries as they try to battle insurgents, correspondents say.

At least 13 Pakistani security troops were killed in a similar cross-border raid by Taliban in the neighbouring Lower Dir district two months ago.

this post has absolutely no relevance to my previous post. you suggested they were hiding but now from the link you are saying that they infiltrated the border. make up your mind man.

There will be fencing on both sides of mines, anyone going after cutting fence deserves the above reward as you said.

Afghanistan doesn't consider Durand Line as the border. If fencing is to be done, it will present another complex problem for pakistan, then pasthuns will unite and fight against that.
