Well the strategic as$-ets have now begun to bite the as$ of the very hand that fed them.

As I mentioned earlier, its the case of Reverse Strategic depth in full naked display.

don’t talk out of you @$$ , the PA has to police not just on the west but on the east also , no matter how many lies you spin it doesn’t change the realities on ground with india , NATO/US plus the ANA only have to focus on one border but still they blame us
Whenever there is talk about closing the border the ones making the most noise that it cannot be done seems to be indians , followed by the afghanis themselves and the US just nodding in agreement BUT still ALL three will come out barking at Pakistan for doing this or that about the border ?!

Not a very bright argument. Afghanistan too has more than one border & the one with Iran certainly needs securing. The decision that needs to be made is of prioritisation. If you worrying now (June 2011) as much about the Indian border as you should the Afghanistan border, then you need to buy yourselves a fresh pair of glasses.

It’s clear that there is some sort of settlement process between the insurgents in Afghanistan and US/NATO forces with the aim of keeping Pakistan out of the process, these type of attacks don’t just happen out of the blue they have to have support from forces controlling Afghanistan and its nothing unusual for Afghanistan that a bunch of thugs can be paid off to go and shoot bullets. Gathering of 200 terrorists near the border cannot happen instantly these people either use Toyota Hilux trucks or 70cc/125cc motorcycles or go on foot , in any case they cannot gather up instantly without getting noticed by US/NATO/ANA forces in Afghanistan.

Brother,

Even if we are to accept your point of view; keep in mind the anti-US and anti-Karzai proxies that our top brass is harboring in North Waziristan. And this is not a hidden affair as ISAF and Karzai know this. Therefore, incidents like these are expected and may grow.

That's what actually happening, they are not all militants but Afghan border force personals also actively took part in attacking Pakistani posts. Pakistan must keep attacking these terrorists camps inside Afghanistan which usually work under US/NATO & Afghan forces. A permanent retaliation requires against them.

There were news that Fazalulah ran to Afghanistan during Swat operation so this terrorist attack also could be his work.

Proof? Or usual brain fart? The latter seems the case.

Those absurd claims appeared in Pakistani media. ISI is using local media to clean up Army's image. SSS was murdered because he threatened to expose more about marriage between Army and TTP, al-qaeda.

If you remember, during Kargil infiltration, in-service Pakistani army soldiers were posing as terrorists in black clothes. Pak-army and Taliban are brothers.

Indeed we are being given a taste of our own medicine, we allowed the militants to use our soil to attack the NATO and US posts, they have allowed to do the same. Do not complaint now, its just the beginning the stupid policy of strategic depth is sure coming back to us.

Just above you said that it was AFG border patrolling force. Now you say it was Fazallulah.

You are contradicting yourself dude.

Probably because they failed to protect Osama Bin Laden.

Your so called highly trained forces cant even contain terrorist, what they can do is kill innocent civilians through air strikes, pussies

So what kind of love you people have with paleolithic army whose arms & faith for sale? or you people found your match? why this brings you so pain and why you don't want to accept that these militants are not all militants? What the reason behind supporting these militants attacking Pakistani posts in uniforms? Have you brain to think from where they got 200 Afghan military uniforms? Why you people don't want to realize that where were afghan border security forces when they attacked and why they didn't called NATO air support against them in their border when they lined up?

So if you don't want to think deeply then leave this topic and thread, don't only sit and make useless posts.

There are several questions that ISPR must respond to:

Why do we not have rapid response divisions/battalions? that would reinforce troops once such an incident occurs.

Why do we not have cobra helis or recon helis on standby 24/7? for rapid response might have lowered our losses.

Why is there little to no collaboration between PAF and Pak Army when aerial support is required? aerial support is crucial in an ambush.

Several more questions.

:hitwall:F-16 (Provided to use in WOT) but they stationed many miles away from active fronts :hitwall::hitwall: JF-17 stationed at Pishawar for photograps and just for showcase:hitwall::hitwall: Mirage ?:hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

Like Musharaf said, if you want to finish Taliban, haqani network then terminate there roots in Afghanistan, I don't know what are the world most advance, richest and largest forces doing there, they cant kill those bastards with vintage weapons and less trained

Aparrently, it appears as if, not a lot of posters are bothered by the death of 25 security forces in hand of the terrorist maggots..

Damn! WTF is going on? Why doesn't the PAF go all out and drop their 1000 pounders on the turbaned heads these bozos? Why can't the PAF fly across into Afghan territory and take these brigands out? If the US of A can just walk into Pakistan why can't Pakistani troops do the same and destroy TTP camps across the border? Isn't preemptive offensive action the best defence? Why keep depending on para military or police forces to defend the border? You need to get the regulars out. This is not a war to be toyed with.
It's very easy to say this over the internet. Crossing the border is not like having a stroll in a park. Same problem is faced by India also. So.. replace PAF with IAF in the above quote and read it. U'll get to know about the difficulties.
