"Wth are shadow governors anyway? They sit and pretend to govern Afghanistan?"

Baradar has established in each province a governing hierarchy that provides taliban command and control as well as implementing a parallel adminstration over the populace. They have district governors, local leaders (usually commanders also) and sharia courts as well.

They've an extensive network to roll up.

Thanks.:usflag:

Nice find. Mullah Mohammad of Baghlan too.:agree:

Very cool. Wonder if he was busted in Faisalabad too?

Thanks.:usflag::pakistan:
There have been many more arrests in fact, another one called Abu Waqas was caught and it has been learned he was in the process of training over 250 girls as suicide bombers - possibly TTP - possibly the link everyone needs for once and for all that the TTP and Afghan Taliban are interconnected and can't be dealt with.

Bad day in the office for Mr. Mullah Brother and Mr Mullah Salam. It must hurt Ninja, Funds and gang that ISI is taking out these scums. I don't care why ISI is doing it but I am happy they are doing it.

Regards

Ps : I remember someone saying a taliban loves death before dishonor but these Taliban scum and self appointed mullahs seem to like music hence they are singing infront of a private audience of ISI and CIA. What next a Grammy for them ?

They were already engaged/arrested along with Akhund.

Blame game and personal attack nothing else.

Bad habbits die hard

arent you doing the same thing to the other people. we have got a saying in farsi which says: Kor Khod Benaye Mardom=you can see other people's fault but not your own fault.

The problem is you actively speak against the stated position of the government of Pakistan - from the Pakistani perspective, thats treason.

I have not stated that GOP/PA claim is wrong , just wanted to clarify my doubt based on Talaban claim, how it is treason?

The Taliban have denied Baradar's capture and accused US officials of trying to deflect attention from a major offensive in southern Afghanistan, where 15,000 US, NATO and Afghan troops are trying to capture a Taliban stronghold.

"He is currently in Afghanistan, where he is leading all jihadi activities... The sole goal of such baseless reporting and propaganda is to make up for the failure in Marjah," Taliban spokesman Yousuf Ahmadi told AFP.

Didnt your Mujahideen initially denied the death of Baitullah and Hakeemullah? Our mujahideen is the same thing, in a few days or weeks they will confirm it.

:) we dont need any confirmation on something on which all three sides have an agreement.

Which 3 sides are you talking about? didnt your mujahideen deny the death of Hakeemullah an Baitullah for many many days before they confirmed it? Didnt we have many many posts and threads regarding that issue? what agreement are you talking about. The same thing is with our mujahideen, they are in deneil now, but they will eventually confirm it.

they can deny it, the fact that all of them are falling into our hands is the proof that they got Bradar or other big fish & that Big fish is talking & he will talk, even if he has to use 'something else' other than his tongue for talking :bounce:
:pakistan::usflag:

they must force these guys to talk. put a big bottle of fanta or coke in their bottoms if they dont talk. or beat them with a thick cable, thats what these inhumen creatures used to do to the other people, many people lost their lives and became paralyzed by these cables.

Afghan Taliban Military Chief Captured, Aides Confirm (Update2) - Bloomberg Feb. 16, 2010

Seems that some of the actual commanders in touch and doing the fighting dispute their mouthpiece's contentions-

"Taliban commander Akhtar Mohammad said by phone that Baradar was taken during weekend fighting in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province. Another Taliban official, Abdul Qayum, said he '...was captured by foreign troops on Sunday, along with some of his bodyguards, during the operation in Marjah...,' a town in Helmand attacked by U.S. Marines on Feb. 13. Qayum also spoke by phone from an unspecified place in Afghanistan.

Two combat commanders say one thing. Another "spokesman" says otherwise.

"'...He is currently in Afghanistan, where he is leading all jihadi activities... The sole goal of such baseless reporting and propaganda is to make up for the failure in Marjah...,' Taliban spokesman Yousuf Ahmadi told AFP."

I know the fighters would like to put the best face upon reality for the sake of their men but it seems their honesty supercedes the dissemblance of Ahmadi.

It is what it is. With each new leader arrested and removed the reality will set in for all.

Thanks.:usflag:
