"As per its Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), IAF responds in such situation looking at the level of threat posed by the aircraft," they said, without giving details.

This is bharati Standard Operating Procedures.

Its a violation of this airspace thing that led to the Atlantic incident..
But giving a press release like this.. the IAF is just being cheesy and playing into the media thing..
After all.. they must have been smarting after their probing incident in 2008 was thrown around the media here.

We were in OUR side, who cares?
Cant we fly on our air space?
Be an inch from India or 1000 Miles away, its our Air Space, we'll what ever we want.
Its your bad that you were scared.
You are all crying as if we had an 'Surgical Attack'

Cheer up guys, we were just testing, does your Radar system work or not!

DV Rules has replied you already. Jammu and Kashmir is not part of India in the first place.
